Jaeden Rush Jaeden Rush 6'0" | PG O'Fallon | 2024 State IL (Metro East Lutheran – 2024)
Rush is a 5’10” point guard that plays the game with an advanced IQ to what his age would indicate. Sound passer that gets others involved with his distributing skills. Also mixed in some 15-18 foot jumpers on the day. One of the better lead guards in the 2024 class from the 618!
Owen Treat (Vienna – 2024)
This 6’2” combo guard plays with swagger. He put it on the deck at times for some smooth drives and had a few quick dishes for dimes. Hit a three. One to track down the line.
Aiden Hinton (Carterville – 2024)
Hinton is a 6’2” super high motor and strong forward that does the majority of his damage around the rim. Runs the floor hard and was quick to the offensive glass for second chance points. Most of his production is off pure energy and effort!
Mason Shubert (Breese Central – 2024)
Young wing with a bright future in front of him. Plays well in the open floor and knocked in threes when they presented themselves.
Rini Harris (O’Fallon – 2024)
Harris was one of the breakout players of the day. First time seeing the 2024 6’2” guard and he came out aggressive looking to make things happen. Finished very well in the paint getting to the rim when he wanted and converting through big men down low. Burst with the ball and hit a three late in the day, but it was his open floor and off the bounce game that left the biggest impression.
Jayden Bey (Confluence Academy – 2025)
This was my first look at the 6’9” metro east prospect who will be playing his high school ball at Confluence Academy in St. Louis. Long and angular power forward with a frame that he can add strength on long term. He showed flashes throughout the day mostly in transition where he would handle it with his long strides covering a lot of ground for difficult layups. Would like to see him run the floor a little more consistently. Jumper has a bit of a straight line drive look to it, but he did hit several in the games. Right now his athleticism and upside are what scream at you. Ways to go, but definitely has a lot of intriguing tools long term!
Drew Barrington (Carterville – 2025)
Barrington is a 5’11” point guard that despite his lack of size did quite a bit of damage early on scoring around the hoop. Fundamentally sound guard that is a good passer, crisp ball handler, and plays really hard. Shoots a good ball and should develop into a quality shooter.
