[player_tooltip player_id="1253985" first="Malakai" last="Burns"] | Ralston 2024 | 5’10 G

Since watching Burns this summer with Team Factory in that short two to three month span he has leveled up his game tremendously. From what I saw this summer he was a tremendous shooter and ball handler. At the expo this weekend he showed off his passing ability a bit more. He ran a great one guard for his team at the expo with not only his passing but scoring in a variety of ways. A guard who can essentially do everything you want as a point guard, Burns will definitely be filling up stat sheets for Ralston this upcoming winter.

[player_tooltip player_id="1253971" first="Elijah" last="Gaeth"] | Millard North 2024 | 6’1 G

Overall what I took away from Gaeth’s game was how smooth he is. Shooting, passing, and dribbling was all so smooth. It was really fun to watch. When it came to his handle he was so consistent with breaking his defenders off. He’s really good at changing pace and direction, causing defenders to not be able to stay in front of him. As a 2024, Gaeth has a lot of upside and a ton of time to develop his game even more.

[player_tooltip player_id="1052928" first="Ben" last="Boudreau"] | Papillion La Vista 2023 | 6’1 G

Boudreau is a very all around player. He plays smart and under control. Nothing too fancy but definitely enough to get the job done. He’s smart with the ball in his hands, he can shoot the three, pull up for the mid range, or take you to the rim. His pump fakes under the rim are great as he was getting defenders to bite on them all night long. Look for Boudreau to be a difference maker for the monarchs this year.

[player_tooltip player_id="1165695" first="Collin" last="Nick"] | Lincoln High 2023 | 6’5 F

At 6’5 Nick is such a versatile player. I would consider him a stretch four. With such mobility and size he is able to score at all three levels consistently. He’s got great speed and footwork, giving him the ability to guard bigs and keep up with some guards. Utilizing that speed will help him get shots when he’s being guarded by a four or a five and back down any guards that end up on him this winter for Lincoln High.

[player_tooltip player_id="1018714" first="Wade" last="Voss"] | Lincoln Southeast 2023 | 6’7 F

Voss, being one of the biggest guys in the gym, dominated in the paint. He rebounded and ran the floor well, giving him some opportunities for some fast break dunks. He’s got great footwork, mobility, and quickness for his size. He defended both bigs and guards, keeping the guards in front of him. Will be a big factor for a young Southeast squad this winter.
