Prep Hoops PA Fall Rankings Update: Super 6 Combo Guards of 2022

<p>With the rankings update finalized for the class of 2022 here at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania, we take a glance at some talented combo guards that will lead their high school teams this winter on the hardwood. These six top performers have the ability to "take over" games on a regular basis and make everyone around them better players. Any coach would enjoy the privilege of coaching these young gentlemen on their high school or AAU teams. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="991193" first="Devin" last="Carney"] - Butler High School</strong></span></p> <p>6'1 - Senior - Combo Guard</p> <p>Even though he is already committed to Elon University (D1), this talented senior hasn’t stopped working on his game. Devin averaged over 30 points per game last high school season and played outstanding on the AAU circuit this past summer. He will be one of the top players in the WPIAL and the State this winter and will continue to provide the leadership needed for his team to be successful. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="991224" first="Devin" last="Whitlock"] - Belle Vernon High School</strong></span></p> <p>6'0 - Senior - Combo Guard</p> <p>The speed, excellent footwork, and quick hands of this young man are an extremely impressive asset for his overall game performance. Devin has been a proven leader for his teammates from the moment he stepped on the court as a starter. When he runs the floor in transition it resembles a "bolt of lightning" and his ability to finish in the lane is another strength of his game.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1188541" first="Kevaughn" last="Price"] - Bishop Canevin High School</strong></span></p> <p>6'1 - Senior - Combo Guard</p> <p>This strong, physical player can use his body to an advantage on penetration to the basket, as well as on the defensive end of the floor. Kevaughn’s ability to power his way to rebounds is quite impressive considering he is only 6’1 and a combo guard. His mentality is focused on winning, making his teammates better, and playing the best he possibly can during any contest.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="991227" first="Easton" last="Fulmer"] - Franklin High School</span></strong></p> <p>6'1 - Senior - Combo Guard</p> <p>A balanced scorer from the perimeter and who has the ability to get in the lane and finish with floaters. Easton dedicated himself to improving his ball-handling and passing this summer during the AAU season and it benefited his overall game. Look for this young man to continue to utilize his high basketball IQ and be that coach on the floor he has always been for his high school team.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1188548" first="Aden" last="Saunders"] - Montour High School</span></strong></p> <p>6'2 - Senior - Combo Guard</p> <p>He is a "lockdown" defender and puts forth the effort needed to create problems for his opponents with strength and quick hands. Aden is a creative offensive player that has quality dribble moves to get into open space. On his high school team, he definitely leads by example with his calm demeanor and the ability to provide that positive motivation.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="991295" first="Michael" last="Graham"] - New Castle High School</span></strong></p> <p>6'0 - Senior - Combi Guard</p> <p>A role player in his first season, he developed into one of the main guys for his team during their championship run this past season. Michael is excellent with the ball in his hands and looks to distribute to his teammates in the half-court set or transition.
