As we close the book on the Indiana Top 250 Expo and turn our attention to the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase, it is time to look at some stock-risers and new names from the event. We had a great turnout at the showcase and have already provided evaluations for every prospect that was in attendance. We’ve rolled out several top performer pieces as well. Here, we take a look at six prospects that improved their stock as much as anyone at the Top 250 Expo.

[player_tooltip player_id="1158213" first="Kobi" last="Bowles"] (Lawrence North H.S. 2024)

Let’s just go ahead and say it. We might have been wrong by not including this Lawrence North point guard in our initial Top 25 ranking for the Class of 2024. As soon as we expand those rankings he definitely will be in them. The ultra-quick lefty playmaker was excellent against solid competition on Saturday. Bowles is explosive off of the dribble and can get into the paint seemingly whenever he wants. Playing next to C.J. Gunn should help his development this winter as well. Definitely looks like a potential Division I point guard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1158635" first="Austin" last="Cripe"] (West Noble H.S. 2023)

Cripe is a 6’3" athletic wing with a lot potential as a true three level scorer. He filled it up in every game on Saturday showing his high-level perimeter shooting ability. Cripe is excellent attacking closeouts as well which makes him very difficult to contain on the wings. I expect Cripe to become a prospect that is highly sought after by the in-state NAIA’s. Big numbers coming this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id="868239" first="Cooper" last="Farrall"] (Culver Academy 2023)

The stock is already in a good place with this prospect, but Farrall solidified himself as a Division I player in my eyes on Saturday. He had a couple of 20+ point performances showcasing his ability to score it in a variety of ways. Whether it was shooting it from beyond the arc or slamming home a big dunk, Farrall was arguably one of the most impressive players at the Top 250.

[player_tooltip player_id="1168149" first="Hunter" last="Johnson"] (South Decatur H.S. 2022)

Division III’s that aren’t already recruiting Johnson need to begin doing so now. He is a dynamic scorer that can really get hot in a hurry. The 6’2" guard has good athleticism and strength that allows him to be an above-average finisher around the basket along with this shooting ability. Very aggressive offensive player. He should continue to see his recruitment pick up as the high school season begins.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295334" first="Jackson" last="Wors"] (Delta H.S. 2024)

After averaging 11.7 pointer per game as a freshman at Blackford, this 6’3" wing has moved on to Delta for his sophomore season. Wors is a good shooter, but is at his best when attacking closeouts and finishing around the basket. He has the strength to mix it up with larger defenders inside and has proven to be an efficient finisher. A breakout sophomore season is ahead for Wors.

[player_tooltip player_id="1267661" first="Mason" last="Yoder"] (Westview H.S. 2022)

Starting in the summer I’ve been pumping up Yoder as a good small college recruit. He continued to show why that is the case with a strong performance at the Indiana Top 250 Expo on Saturday. Yoder is an athletic 6’2" guard that is very good off the dribble. He can elevate up to score from the mid-range or get all the way to the basket and finish amongst the traffic. This is a guard that will help a small college win basketball games.
