He was a<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}"> flat-out pro when it came it using his length in traffic on the dribble drive, finishing layups with phenomenal touch while floating slightly away from the basket.
[player_tooltip player_id="958603" first="Chauncey" last="Gibson"] | Combo Guard | Dallas Kimball HS | C/o ’22

Clemson University commit, [player_tooltip player_id="958603" first="Chauncey" last="Gibson"], plays basketball like a game of chess, always anticipating the opponent’s next move while also staying two or three steps ahead. This floor general controlled the games and dictated the flow offensively, setting teammates up in the halfcourt as well as in transition. Gibson displayed a very high IQ as he scanned defenses, making the proper reads and decisions with his passes. He showed an unselfish side to his game with his terrific court vision and even proved to be able to make just about any throw accurately. The 6-foot-6 guard’s h<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">ead was always on a swivel, he was consistently alert and even showed impressively quick-thinking off the dribble with his effortless shooting over the top of the defense, his knack for seeing all of his moving pieces, and his ability to direct teammates into successful situations or spots on the floor. Not only was [player_tooltip player_id="958603" first="Chauncey" last="Gibson"] incredibly smooth at every aspect of the game but he continuously remained unphased by pressure or anything else thrown his way.

<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Junior guard, [player_tooltip player_id="892148" first="JaCovey" last="Campbell"] showed off his offensive side with his unstoppable, uncontainable speed and quickness in transition. Campbell’s talent for getting downhill gave him countless opportunities to create easy and open jumpers or layups for himself as well as his teammates. As usual, JaCovey was extremely crucial on the defensive end, always locked in and disciplined when putting the clamps on anyone he faced off against. The pressure <span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Campbell placed on opposing ball-handlers helped force turnovers at a high rate. The Texas-ranked point guard proved to be one of the best defenders in the country. 99% of the time he forced guys into picking up their dribble, fumbling the ball, or quickly passing it away, displaying a<span style="font-size: 1rem;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">mazing, fast-moving hands and feet, even at his smaller stature.
