Class of 2021: College Commitment Breakdown (NAIA)

The college destinations of the Class of 2020 in Oregon have been determined and many of those getting ready to start their college basketball careers have enrolled in school and have started practicing.  Here’s a list of those who are heading to the NAIA level, which will be in one division in 2020-21.

Breakdown:  As usual the in-state NAIA schools in the Cascade Conference loaded up with signees, especially Corban and Multnomah who signed guys for their JV or developmental squads.  A couple of guys at Multnomah who will play varsity and contribute immediately are former Metro League standouts  Kell Estep Kell Estep 6'4" | CG Sunset | 2021 State OR and  Brady Grier Brady Grier 6'5" | SF Westview | 2021 State OR .  Elsewhere in the Cascade Conference, Bushnell added depth at multiple positions.  One of the top-ranked in-state players in Luke Smith Luke Smith 6'3" | CG Willamette | 2021 State OR should step right into playing time in the backcourt and  Jarrett Bryant Jarrett Bryant 6'4" | SF South Eugene | 2021 State OR and  Jackson Gielish Jackson Gielish 6'8" | PF Pleasant Hill | 2021 State OR  should both fight for rotation minutes.  

A handful of seniors signed out of state.  Within the Cascade Conference,  Andrew Vaughan Andrew Vaughan 6'3" | CG Portland Adventist | 2021 State OR found a fit at rebuilding Walla Walla whereas Sean Pak Sean Pak 6'5" | PF Southridge | 2021 State OR got a late call to join national powerhouse Lewis-Clark State.  Jesuit standout guard  James Lang James Lang 6'0" | CG Jesuit | 2021 State OR will be suiting up at another national power, Carroll College.  1A star  Micah Colburn Micah Colburn 6'1" | CG Damascus Christian | 2021 State OR is currently at Lincoln Christian in Illinois, 3A star  Josh Baugher Josh Baugher 6'6" | CG Santiam Christian | 2021 State OR is at Dordt in Iowa, while former Westview forward Aiden Grady Aiden Grady 6'7" | PF Westview | 2021 State OR is all the way in the Northeast at Maine-Fort Kent.  Finally, high-scoring swingman  Nathan Meithof Nathan Meithof 6'5" | SG McNary | 2021 State OR will take his talents down to Southern California at Westmont.
