The 2022 available talent pool got a little bit smaller as Westfield power forward [player_tooltip player_id="1018572" first="Sean" last="Logan"] committed to Davidson yesterday. The power forward class is still filled with talent and has the potential to make an impact at the next level. Here are the top available power forwards in the 2022 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="931018" first="Javon" last="Adams"], 6’9 Olympus Prep

Adams has the potential to play either the 3 or the 4 at the next level and is one of the top available prospects in the class. The lanky 6’9 forward has a good handle, which he used to get by his defender to get to the rim. Adams has a nice touch on his jumper and uses his length to shoot over smaller defenders. He is a good passer and skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Adams is a talented combo forward who should be highly sought after this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013041" first="David" last="Luberoff"], 6’8 Midland Park

Luberoff is one of the more under the radar players in the Garden State and is set to explode this season. The 6’8 forward has a nice touch around the basket and does not mind finishing through contact. Luberoff can also step out on the perimeter and knock down jumpers from distance. He is a strong rebounder and is one of the top shot-blockers in the class. Luberoff is a two-way stretch-four prospect who should have a big senior season for Midland Park.

[player_tooltip player_id="900352" first="Mark" last="Woolhouse"], 6’9 Pennington

Woolhouse had a big summer with the NJ Panthers and it should carry over into the winter season. The 6’9 forward runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy finishes around the basket. Woolhouse has a nice release on his jumper and his range extends out to the three-point line. He knows how to get position down low and fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Woolhouse is ready for a strong 2021-22 season with Pennington as more schools become interested as the season moves along.

[player_tooltip player_id="1016676" first="Landen" last="Shivers"], 6’8 Life Center Academy

Shivers had a strong summer with Team Final Black and is looking to carry that success over into the season. The 6’8 forward plays with a great motor as he rarely takes a play off at either end of the court. Shivers has a good mid-range jumper and has a nice touch around the basket. He is tough to box out on either end of the floor and is a solid post-defender. Shivers is a high-energy forward prospect who should see his stock rise throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013060" first="Logan" last="Blake"], 6’7 Delaware Valley

Blake is one of the more intriguing forward prospects in the class as he brings a versatile skillset. The 6’7 forward has a nice handle and is unafraid of drawing contact on his way to the basket. Blake is a good passer and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He attacks the glass on both ends of the floor and is a solid defender. Blake’s ability to impact the game in multiple ways is something that will benefit him in a big way during the recruiting process.
