We have reached the 2022 rankings. The South Florida list boasts [player_tooltip player_id="712107" first="Taylor" last="Hendricks"] as the highest-ranked player at No. 17. The 6-foot-9 power forward is committed to UCF. Hendricks’ South Florida ranking is one I surely agree with. I’ve been a fan of his since his days at University School. 499 prospects are currently ranked in this class.

[player_tooltip player_id="1316844" first="Kevin" last="Passimino"] - Cypress Bay (PH. 143)

I think this is a good spot for this kid. [player_tooltip player_id="1316844" first="Kevin" last="Passimino"] is a 6-foot-5 prospect that can put the ball on the floor and finish off the bounce. Back in July, Passimino had 38 points in a summer league game against Westminster Academy. He can shoot from 12-15 feet and create his own shot from the perimeter. Cypress Bay shouldn’t have a problem scoring points with him and [player_tooltip player_id="1062420" first="Noah" last="Kattan"]. Passimino is also a great student with a 3.5 GPA.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065430" first="Rick" last="Daniels"] - North Miami (PH. 221)

I saw [player_tooltip player_id="1065430" first="Rick" last="Daniels"] a few times last season and came away impressed overall. The 6-foot guard averaged 7.8 points and 2.9 assists while shooting 50 percent from the field. That is an efficient shooting number with a bit more volume. He has a chance to prove it as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="829513" first="Nicholas" last="Mate"] - Florida Christian (PH. 430)

[player_tooltip player_id="829513" first="Nicholas" last="Mate"] is a player to watch based on his volume and 3-point shooting. He could score 18 points on six 3-pointers alone. Therefore, this spot here makes him a dangerous player. He’s 5-foot-10 so he has some size to go along with his ability from outside.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065494" first="Lionel" last="Swaby"] - Miami Norland (PH. 303)

[player_tooltip player_id="1065494" first="Lionel" last="Swaby"] is a solid rim protector given he’s 6-foot-7. This kid is athletic and can defend the post. I trust him to block a fair amount of shots and grab rebounds. Swaby averaged 3.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. A little more production out of him and watch out.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065431" first="Michael" last="Kalina"] - North Broward Prep (PH. 238)

[player_tooltip player_id="1065431" first="Michael" last="Kalina"] is a high reward pick here. The 6-foot point guard was a great player for Boca Raton before transferring to North Broward Prep. In addition, he is coming off a good travel season. He averaged 14.2 points, five assists and 4.2 rebounds per game for the Bobcats. I think Kalina is up for the challenge.

[player_tooltip player_id="1065488" first="Nedas" last="Zukauskas"] - Sagemont

You can almost always bank on me taking a 6-foot-8 forward that can stretch and hit 3-pointers. That is what [player_tooltip player_id="1065488" first="Nedas" last="Zukauskas"] is and he does it well. Put him in the right situation and he can produce. In addition, Sagemont has the pieces around him to be successful.
