This was perhaps the easiest selection of any conference in the state. The Iowa commit is a dynamic two-way player who stuffs the stat sheet and scores at a highly efficient clip. He has an outstanding feel for the game, knowing when he needs to take over as a scorer, or getting others involved. The do-it-all wing is also one of the top two contenders for Mr. Basketball this season.

First Team

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="682266" first="Josh" last="Dix"], Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln: 19.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.5 steals, 1.3 blocks, 54.5 FG%, 37.8 3P%

The Iowa committed wing is a dominant player on both ends of the floor who ranks among the top 10 returnees in 4A in every major category. He has a smooth offensive game with the ability to score from all three levels.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="784974" first="Jamison" last="Gruber"], Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln: 11.9 points, 1.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.4 steals, 47.8 FG%, 37.7 3P%

Gruber has really improved his shooting over the last few years, turning into a high-level shooter from the arc to pair alongside Dix. He's also a very good passer with excellent court vision.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1167668" first="Keavian" last="Hayes"], Sioux City West: 17.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals

An athletic and physical guard, Hayes led the Wolverines in scoring and steals last season. He gets to the rim and finishes through contact extremely well.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962663" first="Keeon" last="Hutton"], Sioux City West: 16.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.3 steals, 50.8 FG%, 79.3 FT%

A long and athletic lead guard, Hutton can impact the game on both ends of the floor with his athleticism, length, and quickness. He's a good passer who sees the floor well, scores, and crashes the glass hard on both ends of the floor.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1158432" first="Bie" last="Ruei"], Sioux City East: 11.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 49.0 FG%, 38.2 3P%

Ruei is the top returning scorer for the Black Raiders, a long and athletic wing who can stroke it from 3 and get to the rim. He has good size and length and will be relied upon to be a big-time scorer this season.
