Zane Whitaker Zane Whitaker 6'6" | SF Magoffin County | 2024 State KY , Magoffin County – Zane has great length and a clear skill level as he knocked down shots all day and was able to score off the bounce. At 6’5, Whitaker still needs to add bulk to his wiry frame but he should be an impact player for Magoffin this season.
Noah Lovan Noah Lovan 6'3" | PG Providence | 2024 State IN , Trinity – Lovan is a lights out shooter. In the first game of the day, Noah was hitting jumpers from deep all the way into the midpost and not many hit anything other than the bottom of the net. Trinity is always loaded with guards but Lovan could find his way into the rotation.
Avonte Payne Avonte Payne 6'0" Dixie Heights | 2024 KY , Dixie Heights – Payne is all the way back from a knee injury and is no longer wearing the heavy brace that he was sporting during AAU season. With increased mobility, Avonte was able to get downhill with ease all day Saturday and had one particularly nice dribble combo that left a defender lost.
Devonte McCampbell Devonte McCampbell 6'5" | SF Daviess County | 2022 State KY , Daviess County – A Senior we’d never heard of before Saturday, McCampbell has a chance to be a scholarship level player. He’s got good length and showed a solid basketball IQ and willingness to guard, even in a camp setting where defense is optional for most.
Jakob Fredricksen Jakob Fredricksen 6'8" | PF Central Hardin | 2023 State KY , Central Hardin – At 6’7, Jacob was one of the bigger players in the event but his size didn’t limit him to playing only the post. Fredricksen showed some ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim or make catch and shoot jump shots. He could be a sleeper in the 2023 class.
Ryan Carter Ryan Carter 6'3" | SF Frederick Douglass | 2023 State KY , Frederick Douglass – Carter is just another on a long list of weapons that Douglass has on the roster. Ryan has good length at 6’3 and showed an above average shooting stroke. If he can put it on the floor as well as he shoots it, he may be a potential breakout player in the 11th.
Parker Culbertson Parker Culbertson 6'2" | SF Ohio County | 2023 State KY , Ohio County – Culbertson was on the short list of best shooters at camp on Saturday and showed the ability to get past defenders and make several midrange pull-ups in traffic. Parker could be a surprise player in the 3rd region this season.
Keaton Baird Keaton Baird 6'4" | SF Spencer County | 2024 State KY , Collins – Baird has grown and filled out over the last 9-12 months and showed off more confidence on Saturday than he has shown before. Keaton started off hot with several early buckets in his first game and was consistent scoring the ball all afternoon.
