This past weekend The Hoop Circuit College Prospect Camp took place at the Beaverton Hoop YMCA and it was filled with talented prospects from throughout the Pacific Northwest. There in attendance were also a number of top-ranked players from the state of Oregon who showcased their talents in front of the many Division II, Division III, NAIA, and JC coaches in attendance.

We dropped by the camp on Saturday and here’s a look at some of the top Class of 2022 players who were there (listed with most recent ranking):

#5 - [player_tooltip player_id="942247" first="Devon" last="Malcolm"], South Medford

Malcolm certainly showcased his athletic ability, throwing down a number of highlight reel dunks and flying in for shot rejections. Overall he played hard on both ends and impressed with his motor. We caught up with Malcolm and will have an update posted soon.

#7 - [player_tooltip player_id="1228279" first="Caden" last="Harris"], Summit

Harris shot it well from the outside as we’ve been accustomed to seeing, but was also outstanding in transition using his rugged body to absorb contact and finish around the rim. We caught up with him for the latest on his recruitment and will have an updated posted soon.

#10 - [player_tooltip player_id="857354" first="Noah" last="Ogoli"], Tualatin

Playing on the same team as Malcolm and Harris, Ogoli anchored the second unit and played both with and without the basketball. He finished really well in transition and got loose to hit some perimeter jumpers. We caught up with him on the latest and will have an update posted soon.

#38 - [player_tooltip player_id="964555" first="Jacob" last="Axmaker"], Stayton

Axmaker had perhaps the best individual scoring performance on the day, doing what he does best - knock shots down from long range. When the senior gets hot from the outside, he’s very difficult to stop.

#67 - [player_tooltip player_id="1079534" first="Tane" last="Prictor"], Mountain View

It was great seeing Prictor in action as the last time we saw the 6-foot-10 big man he hurt his knee in Las Vegas. He ran the floor well, posted up strong, had some strong finishes and was a factor on the boards.

#78 - [player_tooltip player_id="1229389" first="Nate" last="Kindred"], South Salem

As we saw this summer, Kindred played with grit and toughness, getting physical with other players on both ends of the floor. He’s a tough matchup for defenders with his ability to score both inside and out.

#UR - Ashton Sewell, East Linn Christian

This was our first time seeing Sewell and we loved his energy level. He was always around the ball and his motor seemed to never end. He got hands on loose balls and really got after it on defense.

Some other seniors at the event that we briefly saw included:

#36 - [player_tooltip player_id="964540" first="Landon" last="Thom"], Westside Christian
#43 - [player_tooltip player_id="1079529" first="Matthew" last="Forsyth"], Marist
#80 - [player_tooltip player_id="857370" first="Sidney" last="Jones"], Aloha
#83 - Nathan Perkins-Fuesser, Benson
#UR - Jordan Mesa, Beaverton
#UR - Gabriel Wigginton, Stayton
