<p>The class of 2023 has already made some big splashes at the prep level in the state of Idaho and each ranking update features new players and talent popping up across the state. Continue reading for a look at some of the top newcomers to the rankings from the class of 2023.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1240539" first="Jacob" last="Anderson"], Timberline:</strong> Anderson has continually made big strides with his game as he is establishing himself as one of the best players on the Timberline roster. Jacob’s ability to stretch the floor and play inside or outside will help him become a big threat at the 5A level.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266746" first="Casey" last="Cope"], Vallivue:</strong> Cope is a great left-handed combo guard for Vallivue. As a quarterback on the gridiron, Cope has developed the ability to make great reads while finding his teammates for open looks on the basketball court as well.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266745" first="Kenny" last="McOmber"], Bonneville:</strong> McOmber has been working hard this summer in order to make himself into more of an offensive threat by improving his shooting ability and his ball-handling skills. Watch for Kenny to surprise a lot of teams with his new-found approach to the game.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266748" first="McKay" last="Judy"], Bonneville: </strong>Another small forward from Bonneville, Judy has shown great improvement during his time as a prep basketball player. McKay has a great feeling for the game and plays hard on both ends of the floor at all times.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266743" first="Daniel" last="Neal"], Sugar-Salem:</strong> Neal is part of a great Sugar-Salem team and he is a constant spark of offense when his team needs it most. Neal can score at all levels and can get hot in a hurry from anywhere on the floor.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266747" first="Brady" last="Shaul"], Bear Lake:</strong> Shaul is a dynamic point guard who scores really well at the rim through contact. He is a tough-nosed defender who forces a lot of turnovers and plays hard on both ends of the floor.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266750" first="Bradley" last="Belnap"], Marsh Valley:</strong> Belnap has played a consistent role for Marsh Valley and will look to increase his scoring and overall production next season. Watch for Belnap to show off an improved jump shot and a new scorer’s mentality in the winter.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266749" first="Kaden" last="Hunsaker"], Buhl:</strong> Hunsaker is a bully in the paint and he is sure to grab a lot of offensive and defensive rebounds anytime he plays. Kaden is light on his feet and does not back down from any type of physicality on the floor.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266744" first="Michael" last="Day"], Middleton: </strong>At 6’10", Michael is a threat at all times in the paint. He has great footwork and is working on spreading the floor by introducing extended jump shots to his game. Watch for Day to make a big impact this season.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1266751" first="CJ" last="Jacobsen"], Rocky</strong> <strong>Mountain:</strong> CJ is a pass-first point guard who plays the game at a very high level. He is always looking for ways to get his teammates involved and he does an excellent job of finding the open man at all times.</p>
