1.) 2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1171694" first="Tyron" last="Wright"] (Des Moines East) - 10.9 rebounds a game

Wright, an athletic but raw 6-6 forward, led 4A in rebounding as a freshman by more than a rebound a game. He has a nose for the ball, good hands, and is a great leaper who does a great job pounding the glass on both ends of the floor. His offensive game is still a work in progress, but his rebounding is excellent. If he can develop a more consistent offensive game, watch out.

4.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962647" first="Tynan" last="Numkena"] (Bettendorf) - 7.8

Numkena is undersized for his forward spot, but he uses his wide receiver skills to dominate on the glass. He's one of the best receivers in the state on the gridiron, and he uses his excellent hands and explosive athleticism to be a dominant rebounder. He averaged more rebounds than points (5.8) last season.

5.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="682291" first="Armonniey" last="Thomas"] (Marshalltown) - 7.7

A 6-0 lead guard who holds an offer from Florida International, Thomas is a fantastic athlete with a huge wingspan that he uses to out-leap and outreach opposing players to pull down boards. He's lightning quick and rebounds well both in and out of his area.

6.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962614" first="Ryan" last="Crandall"] (Ankeny) - 7.3

Another football standout who does a good job using his athleticism and physicality to his advantage on the hardwood, Crandall is the leader of an Ankeny team that should be among the best in 4A this season.

The future high-major wing stuffs the stat sheet across the board for the Lynx with his dynamic two-way abilities. He's a high IQ player who defends at a high level and does a great job competing on the glass, using his length and athleticism to his advantage to outleap opposing players for boards.

8.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962663" first="Keeon" last="Hutton"] (Sioux City West) - 7.0

9.) 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="784977" first="Jamari" last="Newson"] (City High) - 6.8

A long and athletic lead guard, Newson does a great job rebounding in and out of his area. He's also a menace on the defensive end with his lateral quickness and length.
