<p>PH will dive into the top small forwards in the 2022 class rankings. This is a good looking group we have at the top. There’s no real certainty these prospects will end up in the small forward position, for ranking purposes we put them in this spot. There’s a few in here who could be effective in other spots. </p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1252976" first="MJ" last="Rice"] 6’5 of Prolific Prep.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Rice</strong> </em>can play multiple positions, his body is built to sustain the physical play in side, battling for rebounds and strong finishes, including power dunks. His skill sets says he can play shooting guard by the way he handles himself on the perimeter, knocking down shots from beyond the 3-point line, and his ability to get buckets with the ball. He’s going to Kansas</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1270483" first="Tre" last="White"] 6’5 of Prolific Prep.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>White</strong> </em>has an ever expanding game. He can do a lot of things on the court with his size and skill set. He has good movement, he’s capable of guarding multiple positions, he runs the court at a good pace. His mid-post face up game is impressive, using his size, and body to get to the bucket. He can score it at all 3 levels. He’s a DI prospect with multiple offers, he did go on a visit to USC recently.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="947816" first="Miles" last="Byrd"] 6’6 of Lincoln HS.</strong></em></p>
<p>At this point <em><strong>Byrd</strong> </em>is as close to a positionless player we’ll find in NorCal. It’s pretty clear he’s a quality basketball player on the court, regardless of any labeled position. He has a good understanding of the game. He has good vision on the court, as a handler with his size he sees the court well, and makes the long pass up, and across the court. His wingspan effects, passing lanes, shooters on the perimeter, and he helps on the boards. He has a good shot when he gets in the paint, and can hit the 3-pointer. Multiple DI offers.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="766848" first="Takai" last="Emerson-Hardy"] 6’7 of Vanden HS.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Emmerson-Hardy</strong></em> is really tough to deal with 15ft and in. He’s a dominate player in the post area because of his strength and length around the rim. He has expanded his game, and is a versatile player who can play outside/inside. He’s improved his shooting form, and range. He’ll hit jumpers around the free throw area, his 3-point shots goes in when in rhythm. He rebounds and runs the court as well as any player in NorCal. Multiple DI offers.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="947390" first="Brycen" last="Shackelford"] 6’5 of Folsom HS</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Shackelford</strong> </em>has bulked up a bit, and showing strong finishing power in the post, and around the rim including dunks. He’s raised his game across the board, and will be one of the more productive players when he’s on the court with his team. He’s sporting an improved jump shot, and gaining more, and more confidence with it. He’s a good floor runner, and attacks from the baseline well. </p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1253966" first="James" last="Frye"] 6’5 of Miramonte HS.</strong></em></p>
<p>A good sized player with good movement, and mobility on the court. He’s an exceptional passer, whether he’s posting up finding open players on the perimeter, slashing to the hoop, or on the drive spotting open shooters. He’s a versatile player who can help with scoring, ball handling and rebounding. He has a good offensive skill set, and good low post activity as well. He recently committed to Claremont McKenna.</p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1254870" first="Rashaud" last="Bradley"] 6’4 of Sheldon HS.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Bradley</strong> </em>is one of the more stronger players in this group. He has the handles, and body control to make his way to the basket on a regular bases in the half court, or coast to coast. He effects the game on both ends of the court. His steady scoring in and around the basket, and his strength to defend, and rebound against players that are taller than him. </p>
<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="766847" first="Leo" last="Wagner"] 6’5 of West Campus HS.</strong></em></p>
<p><em><strong>Wagner</strong> </em>has had a productive high school career. He’s a multi skilled player that can knock down 3-pointers with long range distance. He’s also effective in and around the basket. He hauled in 9 rebounds a game. He has finishing power attacking from the baseline, and running the court in transition.</p>
