Trey Pulford Trey Pulford 6'1" | CG Willard | 2022 State MO 6’1 Willard: The 2022 shooting guard was a walking bucket throughout the afternoon. He is a potent 3-point shooter, but he was scoring at all three levels as well. He had one stretch where he hit five jumpers in a row, including three triples, a pull up jumper and a baseline fadeaway that was well defended.
Ahlante Askew 6’1 Republic: The 2023 point guard displayed his ability to impact the game at both ends of the court. He did a nice job distributing the ball and keeping his teammates involved. He has deep shooting range with his high-arching 3-point shot. His quickness and defensive instincts are always on point as he picked pockets and got steals in the passing lanes.
Joseph Horinek Joseph Horinek 6'7" | PF Buffalo | 2023 State MO 6’5 Buffalo: The 2023 forward was solid on the defensive end as he had some very impressive blocks at the rim. His timing was good as he swatted shots off the glass. He also played some stout post-defense. He also rebounded and scored on some nice rim-runs in trasition.
Brenden Thom 6’2″ Miller: A 2022 forward who was very impressive with his high motor and all-around hustle. He did a great job of getting to loose ball and chasing down offensive rebounds to get extra possessions for his team. He played his role very well. In a showcase event where ball-dominant players usually stand out, he found his own niche with his hustle plays.
Corey Hillburn 6’3″ Exeter: A small-school 2022 wing who displayed a nice shot from 3-point range. He was very effective coming off down screens to hit triples with a quick release. He also has an effective cross-over dribble move to free himself up for a drive into the lane.
Jake Garner , Ozark: A 2024 shooting guard who displayed some impressive skills during the event. He has a good feel for the game and knew how to get to the open spots with his movement. He had a nice 3-point stroke, especially from the corners and he was constantly running in transition. He played very well without the ball in his hands.
Carson Duvall 5’7″ Billings: A 2022 point guard who is a physically strong southpaw who was very aggressive about attacking the basket. He penetrated well and did a good job of either dropping it off for an assist and finishing in the lane with the lefty runner. He may be small, but he’s very tough.
Blake Harris 5’10” West Plains: A 2023 guard who played mostly off the ball and was able to take advantage of his opportunities with some good perimeter shooting.
