On Sunday he went out firing hitting a ton of tough pull up jumpers for multiple areas of the floor and made a couple of really tough finishes at the rim in a tough loss.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164879" first="Aaron" last="Potter"], 6’4 PG, Tulsa Hawks 2022 Blue: Joined his partner Campbell with the tough shot making on Sunday, making pull up after pull up throughout the game as well as getting teammates involved off of attacks at the rim. He finished with averages of 17 points and 5 assists per game this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="1139165" first="Ty" last="Hofer"], 6’4 G, SSA Elite 2022 Black: Had a terrific Sunday and was super efficient in 2 of the 4 games this weekend where he scored 11 points on perfect shooting in game one and on Sunday had 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting from the field. In the last two weekends really got his open 3 point shot making back going.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076405" first="Howard" last="Johnson"], 6’1 G, SSA Elite 2022 Black: Went out with a great weekend where he showed his growth as an overall basketball player that he has made since his 15U season. On Sunday in their win he put it all together with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Johnson is poised for a massive senior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076411" first="Fred" last="Criqui"], 6’7 F, SSA Elite 2022 Black (Pictured): Ended his massive stock rising summer with a double double on Sunday with 11 points and 11 rebounds, earning an offer from Doane University in the process after the game. Criqui can live at the rim off of dives and rolls, and his jump hook has really become automatic.

[player_tooltip player_id="1214588" first="Mason" last="Gomez"], 6’2 Guard, 94x50 Kansas 2023: Gomez is poised to be Topeka West’s sharp shooter from the perimeter and he proved it this weekend shooting the ball really well. In a win on Sunday, Gomez went off for 38 points with 10 three pointers in the ball game. Gets his shot off quick on catch and shoot 3’s and can play along the perimeter. With West’s playmakers he should get quality looks this high school season.

Jakson Rikli, 6’2 Guard, 5280 Athletics: Another big time shooting performance on Sunday comes with a 7 made three point effort for Rikli. He finished with 27 points in the ball game. I watched this 5280 team play a couple of times this weekend and they were a ton of fun to watch play and Rikli can get GOING from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id="1080178" first="Britton" last="Dutton"], 6’1 G, Midwest Magic 2022 (C/O 2023): Playing up a grade, Dutton was consistently the most impressive guard on the floor. He can get to a ton of areas on the floor off the bounce and be effective with an explosive pull up jumper, float game, and strong finishes at the rim. Dutton on Sunday drilled a fade away corner 3 at the buzzer to send the game into overtime against the KC Spurs Silver, and it was just a highlight of all of the big plays he made with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id="984943" first="Kortez" last="Stevenson"], 6’6 F, KC Spurs 2022 Silver: The big bodied athletic Stephenson was one of the big difference makers in the Spurs win on Sunday. Made a ton of clutch free throws, defended the painted area in overtime, and his a tough awkward floater to put his team up 4 in the closing moments. His ability to bang inside and play some point forward was also very valuable in their win.
