<p>After the AAU season wrapped several college prospects ended their recruitment journey. You might recall that East Tennessee State University gained two verbal commits ([player_tooltip player_id="1011998" first="Kristian" last="Shaw"], [player_tooltip player_id="787687" first="Braden" last="Ilic"]), [player_tooltip player_id="787686" first="Braeden" last="Moore"] and [player_tooltip player_id="996898" first="Felix" last="Okpara"] both selected their schools. Well, many of the top players are either adding offers or nearing a pick. Take a look at the newest offers and also several elite camp mentions for younger talents.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1262107" first="Nolan" last="Brang"]</strong> (South Doyle) will camp with Bryan College in September. He just returned from his Tusculum Elite Camp. Marcus Brang, his older brother, committed Carson-Newman football and began his college career in 2020.</p>
<p>The highest ranked point guard in Tennessee, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="996878" first="Chandler" last="Jackson"]</strong> will officially visit Virginia Tech at the end of September. Kansas offered Chandler Monday afternoon, making him their 7th PG offer in the ’22 class. Colorado offered him earlier in the day.</p>
<p>"I took 2 (officials) this summer," shared Chandler August 9th, "I have one set up 23-25 of September with Virginia Tech." Only [player_tooltip player_id="787649" first="Brandon" last="Miller"] is ranked higher overall. Chandler will be a fantastic lead guard at the HM level and recruiters know it.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1025784" first="Elijah" last="Bredwood"]</strong> (Bearden) visited Catawba College the first full August weekend. He is the 12th best recruit uncommitted in Tennessee.</p>

<p>You might remember Fulton High School legend <strong>Edward "Dudda" Lacy</strong>. Today he leaves for Southwest Mississippi Community College (JuCo).</p>
<p>State Champion <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1025276" first="Jakobi" last="Gillespie"]</strong> (Greeneville) finished his July with a verbal commitment to Belmont.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1012005" first="Isaiah" last="Davis"] (PSB-Nashville 17u) added an offer from Trevecca Nazarene. Though he played for Station Camp the last few years, Davis transferred this summer to Nashville Christian.</p>
<p>Welch College offered Reese Pride (William Blount). "I got more interest from Union University, Berry College, Brescia University, Kentucky Christian, and hopefully more to come after Newberry, Tusculum, Bob Jones, and Mars Hill elite camps. Also, [I] have visits lined up for Johnson University and Bryan College." </p>
