Michigan Playmakers Point Guard Camp: Top 2025’s

<p>The Michigan Playmakers are a big name program here in Michigan and beyond. I’ve covered events as far as Texas where the Playmakers were the talk of the town. That’s because they’ve always cultivated college talent and great all around young men. That being said, the Michigan Playmakers Point Guard Camp was a special event. It was held last night at Westfield Academy High in Redford. One of the highlights of the camp was guest appearances by Isaiah Stewart from Detroit Pistons &amp; former NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway Sr. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/08/20210805_091141.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1259421" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/08/20210805_091141-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></a></p> <p>The Playmaker Point Guard Camp featured some of the top up and coming freshman point guards here in Michigan. These are all players that scouts and coaches should have their eyes on in the coming years.</p> <p><strong>Aiden Hanks</strong> (2025, 6-2, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s)</p> <p>Hanks is a pretty long point guard that can really push the pace. He keeps the ball out in front in transition and looks for easy buckets.</p> <p><strong> Logan Hamama</strong> (2025, 5-10, Brother Rice)</p> <p>Hamama has a bright future in front of him. He’s solid and dependable with the ball in his hands and rises up confidently on his jumper.</p> <p><strong>Joshua Gibson</strong> (2025, 5-11, Birmingham Groves)</p> <p>Gibson will definitely be a player to keep an eye on as he enters high school. He’s quick on his feel and smart with the ball.</p> <p><strong>Isaac Kanouno</strong> (2025, 6-1, Walled Lake Western)</p> <p>Kanouno is a terrific downhill player. He attacks the rim with a crossover dribble and finishes impressively with a mid range jumper or a floater.</p> <p>The camp volunteers was an impressive list of next level players and athletes. The campers were taught by engaged staff that came with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
