There were a total of 50 new prospects to Indiana’s Class of 2023 rankings and this is part one of the guys who debuted within the state’s Top 100.
Marcus Ankney Marcus Ankney 6'3" | SG Center Grove | 2023 State IN (Center Grove H.S. 2023)
After a great summer with D1 Indiana and a head-turning performance at the University of Indianapolis Elite Camp, the Center Grove Guard makes his debut in the class rankings all the way up at #33. Ankney is a 6’3″ guard with a ton of offensive skill. He is an efficient scorer from all three levels that should see his D2/NAIA interest explode during the high school season.
Landon Biegel Landon Biegel 6'4" | SF Oak Hill | 2023 State IN (Oak Hill H.S. 2023)
Biegel burst onto the scene with a recent Indiana Wesleyan offer after playing with Grassroots Indiana through the summer. He has nice size and length on the wing and can really, really shoot the basketball. The 6’4″ forward is one of the premier three-point shooters in the class and can also rebound at a high level. I’d expect to see Biegel make a strong push for a Junior All-Star spot. He debuts at #47 in the state.
Ibrahim Diakite Ibrahim Diakite 6'8" | PF BFL Prep (Seattle, Washington) | 2023 WA (Cardinal Ritter H.S. 2023)
This 6’8″ forward is one of the more intriguing prospects on the board in the 2023 class. He is very mobile, athletic, and long. Diakite is an above the rim finisher and rebounds the ball outside of his area on both ends of the floor. He breaks into the rankings at #55 overall.
Sheridan Sharp Sheridan Sharp 6'2" | PG Ben Davis | 2023 State IN (Ben Davis H.S. 2023)
Sharpe is a super quick, long 6’1″ guard that can penetrate the defense at will. He is excellent off of the dribble and an effective finisher around the basket. Shot the ball well at different points over the summer as well showcasing the ability to make threes behind the ballscreen. All-around dynamic playmaker that comes in at #42 statewide.
Reph Stevenson Reph Stevenson 6'7" | PF Hamilton Southeastern | 2023 State IN (Hamilton Southeastern H.S. 2023)
When it comes to upside, Stevenson has a ton of it. A 6’6″ forward, Stevenson runs the floor well and is a high percentage finisher on the block. He played at a high level for an Indiana Elite squad that nearly went undefeated on the 3SSB Circuit. Stevenson is #41 in our new prospect rankings and could continue to rise over the next year.
Brandon Trilli Brandon Trilli 6'5" | SF Munster | 2023 State IN (Munster H.S. 2023)
After moving to Indiana from the state of Arizona, Trilli immediately made a name for himself playing on the Prep Hoops Circuit with Indiana Game Premier. The 6’4″ forward is one of the best interior scorers in the state despite not being the biggest inside. He is extremely crafty, has excellent footwork, and can score anyway you want inside of 15-feet. Continues to improve from beyond the arc too. #48 overall in the state.
