Who had the best summer on the circuit? The following players should have a ton of momentum going into the fall. Overall, the AAU season has been a great success for many prospects. The following should have a ton of momentum heading into the fall.

Let’s look into it…part two

[player_tooltip player_id="1065434" first="Caelum" last="Ethridge"] - Pembroke Pines Charter

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1065434" first="Caelum" last="Ethridge"] should be feeling good after a high-level summer for Nike Team Florida. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard was a consistent threat from the perimeter and used his body to score at the rim. In addition, he is a much better player in transition. Ethridge has plenty of length to give defenses fits. I like his improvement in this area which coincides with his improved athleticism. Overall, his game has really morphed over the last few years.

[player_tooltip player_id="829389" first="Elijah" last="Wyche"] - Pembroke Pines Charter

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="829389" first="Elijah" last="Wyche"] is a prospect I really like. He is a 6-foot-5 wing that is relentless on both ends of the floor. Wyche can really crash the glass and provide second chance points. He is a great leaper and mismatch for prospects of similar size/athleticism. Specifically, he can be a big-time problem for small forwards. He averaged 12.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game for Florida Pro. Comes back to a very good team looking to repeat as state champions.

[player_tooltip player_id="814915" first="Faheim" last="Meran"] - Miramar*

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="814915" first="Faheim" last="Meran"] is a highly athletic/versatile guard. I think he has a bright future in college as a true point guard. Meran is 6-foot-6 and can score downhill. Moreover, he can attack the rim and finish with either hand. Watch out for him in transition with his athleticism and size. I think he is a better shooter than some might give him credit for. Meran can comfortably guard the 1-3. His length will add block shots and rebounds out of his backcourt position. Meran played for Team Me Hoops. He has picked up offers from low-major programs. Meran has since transferred to West Oaks Academy.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id="1053915" first="Stone" last="Bureau"] should be in for a huge sophomore season. The 6-foot point guard is an extremely good defender that will lockdown his assignment. In addition, he has active hands and will create turnovers. Transitional buckets will be a common theme from this. Bureau is just too athletic for most opponents. He will be tough off the dribble in the halfcourt due to his talent. His first step will get him to the second level and finish or create. Just a better overall playmaker in every facet of the game. Bureau played for Team Breakdown. He be one of the best point guards in the region for Suncoast.
