AAU Notebook: ND Attack 17U

<p>Check out these seniors from all across North Dakota and one player from Montana. The ND Attack players received great experience this summer while playing against stiff competition. These players will come into their senior years ready to roll after a summer full of AAU ball. The team played well early in tournaments however struggled the second day. The team improved and played well together even though they were outsized many games. He ran the offense and guarded the best opponent’s guard and needed to be on the floor at all times.</p> <p class="gmail-xmsonormal"><strong>Taven Coon (2022) |5-11| Glendive (MT)</strong> – He came off an injury and can shoot the ball with deadly accuracy. He really got strong towards the end of the summer and was our go-to 3-pt shooter.</p> <p class="gmail-xmsonormal"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1111171" first="Logan" last="Topp"] (2022) |6-0 G| Griggs/Midkota</strong> – He is an aggressive machine that won’t back down. Hustles and will stick his nose where some say it doesn’t belong. Had to guard opposing teams 4 or 5 due to our lack of size in some tournaments. </p> <p class="gmail-xmsonormal"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1159546" first="Adam" last="Bitz"] (2022) |5-11 G| Valley City </strong>– A good shooter and aggressive slashing to the hole. </p> <p class="gmail-xmsonormal"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1159584" first="Jaxen" last="Johnson"] (2022) |6-5 F| North Border</strong> – A solid 4 and 5 for us. Has a good jump shot. </p> <p class="gmail-xmsonormal"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1159615" first="Cade" last="Stein"] (2022) |6-1 G| Dakota Prairie</strong> –  He played the first couple of tournaments and was our go-to guy. He can score outside and get to the rim. Strong player who had to physically guard much taller players throughout the summer.
