As we make our way through the new additions of the c/o 2023 PH makes every effort to see and give an honest, and fair evaluation of all the prospects we see. Hopefully with California reopening we will be able to add some of those players we didn’t get the opportunity to see during this updated period of our rankings. Here is our last of the new additions to the rankings list.

[player_tooltip player_id="1253121" first="Trevor" last="Alfstad"] 6’7 C of Granite Bay HS. #70

Alfstad has good size, and is physical enough in the post area to be an effective player throughout the game. He has a good drop step and a turnaround jumper in the paint to get his points. He’ll defend his position, and go after rebounds somewhat aggressively. He hustles up the court in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id="1255642" first="Emmerson" last="Jones"] 6’5 W/SF of Salesian Prep HS. #71

Jones is a long wiry prospect with a good upside to his game, from what we saw he’s effective on the defensive end with his length capable of defending more than one position, he moves well in transition filling lanes, and going after rebounds. His length helps him get his shot off over other long armed defenders around the basket. We’ll see more of him.

[player_tooltip player_id="1255936" first="Sam" last="Norris"] 6’7 W/F of Sacred Heart Prep HS #72

Norris has a lot of upside to his game as long as he can continue to add muscle to his growing frame. He has a decent set of skills on the perimeter, and has the size to score in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id="1256422" first="Max" last="Tengan"] 5’10 PG of Kennedy HS #73

Tengan may be a bit underrated which gives him a chance to move up. He’s a quality guard with decent handles, and some quickness on the move when he has the ball. He’s got good confidence when it comes to pulling up for his shot, whether it’s a transition 3, or a mid-range jumper off the bounce he’s got a good shot.

[player_tooltip player_id="1256423" first="Robert" last="Morgan"] 6’4 W/F of Moreau Catholic HS #74

Morgan is a two sport athlete with size, and strength to do damage on the court. He’s a heads up player, that can defend multiple positions including bigger players in the post. He’ll help with the rebounding. He has good foot speed to fill the lanes in transition. He can handle the contact inside to score.

[player_tooltip player_id="1255643" first="Micah" last="Hobson"] 6’4 SF/F of Sac Hoyas #77

Hobson is a player who could very well use this ranking as a motivation tool to raise his numbers in the next go around. He’s a solid body player who can get his fair share of points, and rebounds working in and around the paint area with his strength. He’s a player we’ll see more of.
