<p>One thing has been consistent in 2021 - every time we’ve seen [player_tooltip player_id="1079535" first="Chaz" last="Storm"] play, he’s lit it up. The lean 6-foot-7, 185-pound forward now at Western Christian is a straight up bucket with his speciality draining catch-and-shoot from three-point range. Storm is hoping that college coaches catch on and he got off to a fast start this past weekend with his All-Around Players team at the NW Live Summer Regional in Beaverton.</p>
<p>"This was the first tournament I’ve played in this summer and it was pretty fun," Storm said. "We played some good teams and I’m just excited to be playing."</p>
<p>Storm certainly hit his share of threes, but he’s more than just a standstill shooter. He also made some plays getting to the basket and finishing and that’s one area of his game he’s been focused on improving.</p>
<p>"The biggest thing for me is reading the game, hitting the open man when I drive," Storm said. "I’ve also got to work on my lateral quickness, my strength, and keeping my man in front of me on defense."</p>
<p>A high-academic performer who played at Santiam until now, Storm notes that he’s aiming to play college basketball and is willing to hear from any college program at this point.</p>
<p>"D-I is my dream but any program I could play for I would be blessed," Storm said. "I’m open to anything and I’m hoping to hear something soon."</p>
<p>All-Around Players will be playing at the Big Foot Hoops Las Vegas Classic this week. Storm currently ranks as the #32 ranked player in the PrepHoops Oregon Class of 2022 rankings.</p>
