SubscribeThe Prep Hoops Next 2K21 kicks off this upcoming Saturday in Indianapolis and one of the teams we are excited to see in action is the NEBC 14U bunch. Prep Hoops Next caught up with director Don Marsh to learn more about his team and his excitement level to participate in the 2k21 event.
“We are really excited to get to Indianapolis. Playing in these Prep Hoops Next events have been fantastic. The Prep Hoops Next platform for middle school is the number one platform in the country.”
Prep Hoops Next has seen the NEBC a few times already this year and Marsh gave Prep Hoops Next a recap on how their travel season has been so far.
“At the 14U level it has been a good summer. It has been really competitive. It could have been a little better if we hadn’t lost some of our talented forwards to the EYBL so we have been up and down in that aspect but our guards have been very impactful. I think we have two of the best guards in the country so that has been a real positive upswing.”
The NEBC 14U team is filled with good balance up and down the entire roster and Marsh was able to give us a scouting report on three of his best players.
Jaiden Holloman, 5’8, Guard
“In our last regional championship event during the first weekend of June he averaged 38.8 points per game and dropped three 40 point games. He is electric. His first stop and go is unstoppable. He sees the floor so he can pass the ball very well. He is a lockdown defender.”
Nasir Williams, 6’1, Guard
“Nasir is from Philadelphia. He is lightning quick, athletic and has a nice stroke from the outside.”
Zamir Parker, 6’3, Wing
“Zamir has good athleticism, he can shoot it, he can take you off the dribble, and he can dominate in the post. He is turning out to be a special prospect.”
