As we wrap up coverage from the Prep Hoops 2K21 in Indianapolis which was a top tier event to say the least, let’s take a look at some names we did not cover in the recaps that had nice moments, games, or prime time performances at the event.

816 Hoops 2022

[player_tooltip player_id="1050176" first="Luke" last="Stubbs"], 6’3 G, 2022: His size and versatility showcased themselves this weekend, showing off the arsenal from seals inside in the post to handling the ball and attacking, to knocking down the long ball. Stubbs is an all around solid player who impacts the game in a ton of ways.

[player_tooltip player_id="992314" first="Miles" last="Fant"], 6’6, 2022: An impressive and constantly improving forward prospect. Fant had a really smooth looking jump hook going for him as well as his usual shot blocking, defensive prowess, and athletic plays on the the offensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1161814" first="Bennett" last="Stirtz"], 6’4 G, 2022 (Pictured): A smooth and dynamic back court player who had it all going this past weekend in Indy. His ability with the ball in his hands is top notch as he is gifted at both creating for others and getting to his spots and knocking down shots. He has great length as well and finishes in the painted area effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id="1180615" first="Emmanuel" last="Byrd"], 6’7 F, 2022: Picking up steam with a William Jewel offer, Byrd continued his great play on the court. A versatile forward who has an expanding game on the offensive end and the ability to guard a variety of players on defense. Great rebounder and facilitator as well.

KC Spurs 2022 Black

[player_tooltip player_id="993518" first="Michael" last="Harrison"], 6’4 W, 2022: Harrison was a energetic spark for the Spurs all weekend. An athletic wing who can guard both on the ball and in help, is all over the floor, and gets a ton of hustle points and gets extra possessions for his team. Should also take a huge step at Blue Springs this year.

[player_tooltip player_id="991576" first="I’Ryan" last="Allen"], 6’2 PG, 2022: The tough nosed point guard was back leading his team again. Great leader in the back court who backs it up with his play. Has a knack for finding open guys, sparking big plays in transition, and is a guy you want to initiate offense in big games late.

[player_tooltip player_id="984956" first="Jaylan" last="Peeler"], 5’10 PG, 2022: Another player who plays with tremendous effort, intensity, and energy on the floor. A great distributer of the basketball and can score with space. Had nice moments throughout the weekend on both ends of the floor.

SSA Elite 2022 Black

[player_tooltip player_id="1139165" first="Ty" last="Hofer"], 6’4 G, 2022: Filled his role for his squad effectively on the weekend, knocking down open threes off kick outs, sprinting lanes in transition to get layups, and guarded pretty hard on the floor. Matched up with some size that he typically does not see in the HS game and got physical. Had a 7 point outing to finish out the weekend and showed a touch on a nice littler baseline jumper against a zone.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076399" first="Will" last="Gavin"], 6’ PG, 2022: Still getting into the groove after missing a ton of time, one thing Gavin has brought throughout the summer is intensity, energy, and defensive ability and willingness to guard. Had moments throughout the weekend showing off great anticipation in passing lanes and gaps leading to steals and run outs. Hit a couple of his patented pull up mid range jumpers as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076411" first="Fred" last="Criqui"], 6’7 F, 2022: Was not as dominating of a weekend for the big man as in the first two lives sessions, however Criqui flashed moments that got his stock buzzing throughout July. Had a couple of big time seals, catches, and finishes and hit a beautiful baseline turn around jumper late in their second win of the weekend.
