July 13

MeanStreets 78, Mokan Elite 64

[player_tooltip player_id="985658" first="RJ" last="Taylor"] (MeanStreets) - Taylor felt like engine that pushes the train along. He’s was more than solid on the defensive end, which is evidenced by the fact that he’s currently 3rd in the event in steals per game. Taylor had 8 points, 4 steals, and 0 turnovers in this contest.

[player_tooltip player_id="1181896" first="Kareem" last="Rozier"] (MeanStreets) - If toughness was measurable, Rozier would lead the nation. He had a classic [player_tooltip player_id="1181896" first="Kareem" last="Rozier"] game, shining as a perimeter stopper, all while scoring 10 points, grabbing 8 boards, and dishing out 5 assists.

All Ohio Red 64, Bates Fundamentals 62

DeCorion Temple (Bates Fundamentals) - Temple was really impressive in this game, showing how far he has come offensively. He had his usual solid game on the boards, grabbing 7. Offensively, Temple threw up 19 points on 8-14 shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id="787606" first="Emoni" last="Bates"] (Bates Fundamentals) - Bates was his silky smooth self. He was unselfish with the ball, while still maintaining control on that end. He shot 8-14 from the field and finished with 19 points.

July 14

Nightrydas 78, The Family 53

[player_tooltip player_id="811109" first="Keyon" last="Menifield"] Jr. (The Family) - Menifield Jr. is just so dangerous with the ball in his hands. He has such great control of the rock and can move a defender at will when it’s in his hands. Menifield Jr. finished this game with 22 points and 5 rebounds.

MeanStreets 89, Bates Fundamentals 55

[player_tooltip player_id="985658" first="RJ" last="Taylor"] (MeanStreets) - Once again Taylor did it all as a floor general. He had 10 assists, 2 steals, and once again, 0 turnovers. It’s not easy, in fact nearly impossible, to play 40 minutes of basketball at this level and not having a single turnover. Taylor did it.

[player_tooltip player_id="787618" first="Ty" last="Rodgers"] (MeanStreets) - Rodgers was terrific on the defensive end where he was given the task of trying to slow [player_tooltip player_id="787606" first="Emoni" last="Bates"]. He did a great job not allowing Bates to get easy looks at the rim, and even denying the ball at times. Rodgers, in my opinion, is playing himself up the prospect rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="787606" first="Emoni" last="Bates"] (Bates Fundamentals) - While Bates didn’t "go off", he was still the leader for his team on the offensive end. He finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.

July 15

MeanStreets 65, Georgia Stars 60

[player_tooltip player_id="787618" first="Ty" last="Rodgers"] (MeanStreets) - Rodgers once again grinded in this game, showing that he’s more than willing to outwork his opponents. He finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id="985658" first="RJ" last="Taylor"] (MeanStreets) - Taylor set the tone on the defensive end by snagging 4 steals.

Bates Fundamentals 59, Mokan Elite 58

DeCorion Temple (Bates Fundamentals) - Temple again impressed offensively, as he ended the game as the teams second leading scorer with 10 points. He also grabbed 4 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id="787606" first="Emoni" last="Bates"] (Bates Fundamentals) - This was Bates in typical Bates fashion. He went off for 33 points while grabbing 4 rebounds and grabbing 3 steals. Bates fueled a heroic comeback for his squad.
