Las Vegas Big Time Recap: Top 10 Sleepers

<p>The Grassroots season in Vegas is in full swing, with several events taking over the city. Getting an early start on the weekend’s tournaments was The Las Vegas Big Time. Hosted by recruiting legend Gary Charles. The event ran from Thursday, July 21st, and concluded on Sunday, July 25th. Several players came from out of nowhere to make a name for themselves. In this article, we take a look at the top Sleepers from the event. </p> <ol> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="967725" first="Jaxon" last="Heiden"] <em>6’9 PF Salt Lake Rebels 2022</em> - Skilled 4 that blocks shots and moves well.</li> <li><strong>Angel Johnson</strong> <em>6’0 PG Scholar Athletes 2022</em> - Solid two-way PG with enough quickness to get by and enough shooting to score from behind the arc.  </li> <li><strong>Kjellan Oduor</strong> <em>6’9 C Dallas SeaWolves 2021</em> - High energy, high motor physical specimen. </li> <li><strong>Colten Berry</strong> <em>6’7 PF Arkansas Hawks 2022</em> - High motor big, that rebounds, protects the rim, and finishes in transition. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="967691" first="Bowen" last="Davies"] <em>6’8 PF Salt Lake Rebels 2022 (featured image)</em> - Leading shot-blocker in Utah is a rim-protecting savant. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="858168" first="Jalen" last="Cunningham"] <em>6’3 SG Simply Fundamental 2021</em> - Knockdown shooter, with one of the prettiest strokes at the event. </li> <li><strong>Andrew Camacho</strong><em> 6’2 PG Arizona Firestorm 2023</em> - Throwback PG that does all the intangibles to help his team win. </li> <li><strong>Caleb Shaw</strong> <em>6’4 SG D1 New Mexico 2022</em> - Missed all of last season with an injury, his ability to score the ball should get him on the radar in a hurry. </li> <li><strong>Ved Bulusu</strong> <em>6’8 C Team United Yellow 2023</em> - A underrated producer, who came up big in the 16U Diamond Championship game for Team United. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="959247" first="Kyron" last="Henderson"] <em>6’8 Team Swish 2022</em> - Only so low because he probably will end up playing on Sundays but is an athletic, explosive big that runs the floor like a deer. </li> </ol> <p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://twitter.com/7outzbballclub1">Follow Prep Hoops</a></p>
