The NBA Draft takes place tonight. For a select few players, it will be both the culmination of a dream and the start of a new one. A lot will happen with the players from the class of 2024 in high school and hopefully beyond. It’s always fun though to look ahead at what could be. Let’s look at 10 players from the class of 2024 that I think could be drafted someday.

[player_tooltip player_id="1112374" first="Durral" last="Brooks"] (PG, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)

Brooks came into high with a college ready build. Can you just imagine what his build will be after college? Brooks has a basketball IQ that’s beyond his years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1223488" first="Ayden" last="Davis"] (C, Onsted)

True post players will always be searched for at every level, no matter what the trends indicate. Davis has the size and strength to go with soft hands and a quickly improving mid range game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1111929" first="Christian" last="Dunn"] (PF, East Lansing)

Screenshot this one. Dunn is powerful yet mobile and can rebound and score at a high level. Add a few inches and the possibilities are endless.

[player_tooltip player_id="1111922" first="Christian" last="Humphrey-Rembert"] (F, East Kentwood)

Humphrey-Rembert may have the highest upside in the class. He’s a versatile and athletic forward that can affect a game in the paint or attacking off the wing.

[player_tooltip player_id="1140922" first="Chas" last="Lewless"] (PG,Detroit Catholic Central)

This young man is the definition of a floor general. Lewless runs an offense like a seasoned veteran. Just imagine what his game could look like 4-5 years from now.

[player_tooltip player_id="1223484" first="Keyonta" last="Menifield"] (PG, Flint Beecher)

It’s all in the family. Menifield has an older brother that we are all very familiar with, but Keyonta is cut from the same cloth. I’m not going to put anything past this young man.

[player_tooltip player_id="1111927" first="Brady" last="Prieskorn"] (SF, Rochester Adams)

Prieskorn is a prospect to keep an eye on here in Michigan. He has all the intangibles, from height to ball skills. I really like the direction that his overall game could go.

[player_tooltip player_id="1111924" first="EJ" last="Ryans"] (PG, Northview)

Ryans is an elite talent and the type of player that I can’t cap. He plays effectively on and off the ball and can make an impact on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1112315" first="Donnie" last="Watts III"] (CG, Detroit Renaissance)

Watts III is a lightning bolt on offense. He can create his own looks and put points on the board in bunches. Watts III could develop into a BIG TIME player.

[player_tooltip player_id="1111928" first="James" last="Weaver"] (PG, River Rouge)

Playmakers advance to the next level and Weaver is just that. I’m a firm believer in this young man’s game and upside as a prospect.
