PH made the trip to SoCal to see players from NorCal compete in the live viewing period. There were at least five events going at the same time. PH was at Cal-Live on Thursday and these were some of the top performers during the 1st few games of the day.

Te’ And Indalecio 6’1 PG of NorCal Pharoahs 2022. (Inderkum, HS)

A speedy guard who started the viewing period off the right way. He’s quick, and athletic with the shifty handles. He was hard to contain going towards the basket. He used a good first step, and a variety of ways to finish with the bigs flying at him. He knocked down big shots with the game on the line to win the first game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1186515" first="Jayden" last="Morris"] 5’10 PG of Team Arsenal 17U Elite. (Sacramento HS)

Morris played solid defense, and continues to do a good job of facilitating and running the teams offense. He made timely passes to shooters, had good penetration, and passed the ball ahead. His game one defense stood out as he harassed the other teams ball handlers constantly in the open court, making it difficult for the team get any kind of flow.

[player_tooltip player_id="950790" first="Ryan" last="Beasley"] 5’11 PG of Oakland Soldiers 16U EYBL. (Dougherty Valley HS)

It was our first look at Beasley in a while. He’s grown a bit and has a solid body. He’s a multi skilled guard that plays basketball at a high level with very few mistakes. His point guard skills, and decision making were on display. What stood out to us was his knack for getting his hands on loose balls, long rebounds, and deflected passes.

[player_tooltip player_id="766845" first="Jeremiah" last="Dargan"] 6’5 Guard of Lakeshow 17’s Elite. (Clayton Valley Charter HS)

Dargan has upped his game all the way around. He’s a multi talented guard who can play either guard position. He has certain advantages with his size, and ball handling skills. He created his own shot opportunities, while involving others. He has good length, and was able finish over bigs in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1118704" first="Demarreya" last="Lewis-Cooper"] 6’0 PG of NorCal Ducks 17U. (Enterprise, HS)

Lewis proved to be virtually unstoppable when he’s in isolation sets, and the open court. His handles, shiftiness, and foot speed proved to be difficult for one defender to stop in the games we saw. He keeps defenders off balance, and the bigs guessing. He can hit the mid-range with some consistency.
