Battle For Georgia: Unsigned Senior Standouts

6-0 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1130499" first="Devon" last="Barnes"] – Atlanta Celtics – Shiloh
Cool, calm and collected, [player_tooltip player_id="1130499" first="Devon" last="Barnes"] has long been a stabilizing piece in any backcourt. He’s a high IQ guard that makes all the routine plays and protects the ball. He’s a smart passer when attacking defenses, also looking to get others involved. Barnes excels at getting to his spots and hitting the mid-range jumper.

6-8 F [player_tooltip player_id="869584" first="Isaac" last="Abidde"] – AC Georgia – Westover
Heading to prep school, [player_tooltip player_id="869584" first="Isaac" last="Abidde"] came to LakePoint and had some impressive moments. He’s a freakish athlete that can jump out of the gym. Abidde is a strong shot blocker and a double-double threat on the glass. This weekend it was his three-point shot and perimeter play that caught attention. Abidde is a dangerous three-point shooter and has made strides on the wing. He has seen numerous colleges offer recently. D-I talent.

6-5 W [player_tooltip player_id="1047091" first="Kasheem" last="Grady"] – Atlanta Xpress Black – Mt. Pisgah
Things continue to trend upward for [player_tooltip player_id="1047091" first="Kasheem" last="Grady"], who’s final shot of his high school career won Mt. Pisgah a state title at the buzzer in improbable fashion. Grady is rumored to be going prep. I feel it’s likely he resurfaces as a D-I player. He’s got good size and is very athletic. He’s been consistent this summer, catching lobs, getting to the basket and keeping defenses honest with his outside shot. Grady is a versatile defender that can swallow up guards on the perimeter and come down to help defend in the post if need be. Keep an eye on him at the next level.

2021 6-3 SG Nate Finch – Promise Elite – Mill Creek
Nate Finch came off the bench and helped Promise Elite rally from down 17 points to stun Team Forrest. Finch is a svelte guard with an emotionless demeanor. He keeps a level head and comes in an executes when his number is called. He is a very good shooter that can get hot in a hurry, and has length that he can use defensively to disrupt passing lanes.
