Alabama Evals: Class 3A Area 7 Top 2023 Players
<p>There is a plethora of talent in the class of 2023 in Area 7 of Class 3A. We already looked at the class of 2022, not it is time for the next class. </p>
<p>The top five players in this area are some of the best up and coming players in the area to watch in the 2021-22 season. </p>
<p><strong>Seth Hill </strong>| 5-6 G | Reeltown</p>
<p>Hill displays an excellent amount of poise and determination on every possession. On defense, he can lock down the ball handler and force turnovers then run the fast break for a quick score. His offense is even better, as he can run the pick and roll well and score anywhere on the court while having great footwork and quick speed to get to the rim. </p>
<p><strong>Daquan Doss </strong>| 5-4 G | Dadeville</p>
<p>Doss is an outstanding combo guard that can rise to the occassion every night. He can easily score 15+ points while playing solid at both ends of the court. On offense, he can move past defenders and get to the rim or hit any open shot. Doss is also a great team player that can find the open teammate for an easy assist. </p>
<p><strong>Philstavious Dowdell </strong>| 5-8 G | Dadeville</p>
<p>Dowdell is another standout 2023 guard from Reeltown with a bright future. On the court, he is a force at both ends of the floor. His offensive game is the greatest factor to his game. He can rise up from deep or drive it inside and take fouls while going to the rim. </p>
<p><strong>Gavin Ellington </strong>| 6-0 SF | Beulah</p>
<p>Ellington plays the small forward position well. He can create open looks for his teammates off screens, but is great at posting up down low and hitting a jumper. On defense, Ellington is a face guarder that can strip the ball and run the fast break to the other end of the court. At 6'0", Ellington is also a great rebounder. </p>
<p><strong>Finley Henderson </strong>| 6-0 G | Reeltown</p>
<p>Henderson is a solid incoming junior that has great handles and can get past defenders in the open court. Near the rim, he is a fantastic finisher at the glass but also possesses a great jumpshot and can hit any open attempt from beyond the arc. </p>
