Alabama Evals: Class 3A Area 3 Top 2022 Players

<p>Area 3 in Class 3A is loaded with talent on the basketball court heading into the 2021-22 season. The schools in this area are Daleville, Houston Academy, Providence Christian, Slocomb and Wicksburg. </p> <p>The top players in the 2022 class from this area are some of the most talented players in all of Class 3A to watch this upcoming season. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="725189" first="Devontae" last="White"] </strong>| 6-2 PG, SG | Wicksburg</p> <p>White is a sensational guard that can do it all for the Panthers. He can attack the glass when driving to the rim. But his jump shot is the best aspect to his game. The senior can pull up from anywhere on the court and also has a strong defensive stand to his game when on the opposite side of the floor. White is a player that can easily score 25+ points on any night. </p> <p><strong>Bryan Beckwith </strong>| 6-4 F | Daleville</p> <p>Beckwith has a phenomenal shot to his offensive game and can attack the rim against taller defenders. He can hit any open shot and is a sensational defender that can force the ball handler into unwanted shot selections. When he forces a turnover, Beckwith can get a pass to an open teammate running down the court for a quick fast break bucket. At the free throw line, Beckwith is a remarkable shooter that can draw fouls late in games and hit clutch free throws. </p> <p><strong>Matthew McClintock </strong>| 5-8 G | Providence Christian</p> <p>McClintock is a rapid fire shooter that can pull up from anywhere on the floor. He can take over a game at any moment and has a high IQ when the ball is in his hands. He has a sensational shooting form and acknowledges the open teammate on offensive possessions. </p> <p>When he gets a steal on defense, McClintock can quickly run the floor and race towards the rim for an easy bucket. </p> <p><strong>Josh King </strong>| 6-0 PF | Slocomb</p> <p>King is an excellent player at both ends of the court. He is great at getting down low in the psot on offense and attacking the rim with the ball in his hands. He creates a challenge for smaller defenders and can easily draw fouls. When on defense, King is great at rebounding and blocking shots near the glass. </p> <p><strong>Sean Jones </strong>| 6-2 G | Houston Academy</p> <p>Jones is an excellent guard that can step up and be the leader of his team at any moment. When the game is on the line, the incoming senior guard can take over and hit a clutch shot to seal a win. With the ball in his hands, Jones is a sensational scorer that can attack the glass or hit a mid range jumper or an open three point attempt. </p>
