In this article we look at more Sophomores from eastern Massachusetts you should know

Jarred Stubblebine, HT 5’11, ASA, Newton North, Position PG/SG

Jarred has been having a very strong spring AAU season for ASA. Jared is a guard who has real scoring abilities, and playmaking skills. Jared is a very good finisher at the rim with both hands, and is able to get to the basket well. Jared can attack off the dribble, and off cuts. Jarred is also a shooter, and can shoot off the dribble, and by spotting up. Jared has been a stock riser this spring. Jared showed his clutch factor one weekend, having 2 buzzer beaters in the same tournament. One of the Buzzer beaters was a strong finish through the lane, and through contact. Jarred will have a big Junior season for the Newton North Tigers.

Jose Padilla, Newton North, Middlesex Magic, Position PG/SG, HT, 5’11, Class 2023

Jose is a very skilled guard. Joes is a guard who is a playmaker, and very good at getting his teammates involved. Players enjoy being on his team. Jose can attack the gaps, and get to the rim, or stop on a dime and hit the mid range shot. Jose is also a very good shooter from 3, and shoots at a high volume. Jose does a good job of creating his own shot, and is also great on the pick and roll. For a guard Jose rebounds the ball very well. Jose had a game with nine rebounds this past high school season. Jose is a very smart player, and makes a lot great reads on the defenses. Jose is a double double threat every time he steps on the court. Expect Joes to be a name you hear a lot the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081894" first="Ray" last="Johnson"], Team New England, Position PG, HT, 6’0. Class sophomore.

Ray Is a quick guard, who uses his dribbles effective, good out in transition, and finishes well at the rim even with contact. Ray can shoot the ball well and also be a facilitator. Ray is always looking for the ball back after he makes a pass, and cuts really hard. Ray moves well without the ball, and moves with a purpose. Ray is a very good defender and fights hard through screens. Ray has been a stock riser this spring.

Ryan Mela, Natick, Bay State Jaguars, Position Forward, Class sophomore, HT, 6'5

Ryan Is a 6'5 forward with guard skills. He can handle the ball like a guard, shoot the ball well, and finishes really strong at the rim. Ryan had a huge high school season putting up very big stat lines. Ryan can also play above the rim. Ryan is a very high level scorer. Ryan has the potential to take over any game. Ryan is a high level player and should get high level offers as he work his way through the high school ranks. You don't want to miss him play.
