Gortman is fun to watch with his ability to really take over a game at anytime. Gortman have plenty of suitors from the High Major Ranks recruiting him. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/476E5450-4B19-406E-9EC8-1B64EAF9433F.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223594" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/476E5450-4B19-406E-9EC8-1B64EAF9433F-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930636" first="Zachary" last="Davis"] - Denmark-Olar HS </strong></p> <p>Davis earlier this week gave a early pledge to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks for next year. Davis and Simpson both play on Big Shots Elite SC Premier 2022 for Head Coach Lance Gurley. Davis bit of a late bloomer over the past 18 months has great length on the floor from his position. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/D4CD7416-5EC1-4304-A596-AB2D150F9F7F.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223557" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/D4CD7416-5EC1-4304-A596-AB2D150F9F7F-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930601" first="Julian" last="Kiett"] - Irmo HS </strong></p> <p>"Juice" just brings it on every possession of the game - CONSTANT ENERGY. Kiett likes to get the ball downhill with his play and explode to the cup. Juice picked up a offer this week from Francis Marion University and Benedict College. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/8A7757B9-475D-414C-9171-8BBF01D7EC22.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223560" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/8A7757B9-475D-414C-9171-8BBF01D7EC22-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="746056" first="Kory" last="Davis"] - York Prep </strong></p> <p>Davis is just one of the Davis twins in the Patriots backcourt. Davis will take a charge on command, dive on the floor, grab a loose ball or hit a open shot all in the matter of a minute at times. Davis just plays the game with no emotion at times - no fist pumping, no jumping up and down, no pounding the chest. no throwing his arms up in the air. Davis just PLAYS the game to his fullest ability at all times. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/9F1402BE-4FE8-48A4-AEBE-A3EAC6DC7289.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223583" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/9F1402BE-4FE8-48A4-AEBE-A3EAC6DC7289-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="780355" first="Caleb" last="Byrd"] - Mauldin HS </strong></p> <p>Byrd a guard on the Mavericks roster can really pile up some points in a short time on the floor. Caleb has the ability to create his own offense on the floor and for others. Byrd converted several three pointers here today when he was knocking down fadeaway jumpers at times. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1080954" first="Ca’Darrius" last="Sowell"] - Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw) (pictured on front)</strong></p> <p>Sowell had a strong showing at the camp and walked away with a offer from Francis Marion University. Sowell brings so much confidence and competitive edge to floor with his game. Sowell converted several pull-up jumpers today when he wasn’t be crafty with the ball in his hands. Sowell is the ultimate team player and really at times looks to sacrifice his personal stats for the better of the team. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/FE556D17-2B5A-4E70-9ECB-491CF88A4968.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223599" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/FE556D17-2B5A-4E70-9ECB-491CF88A4968-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930599" first="Russell" last="Branch"] - Barnwell HS </strong></p> <p>Branch plays a bit off the grid down in Barnwell County near the Georgia border. Branch does a great job getting to the foul line and converting baskets. Branch really likes to drive the ball to the cup and take the punishment on the other ends it seems at a high rate. Branch went over 1,000 career points last season for the Warhorses. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/B9A5FF7A-3C14-47D3-A0BB-B316F9EE60D2.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223552" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/B9A5FF7A-3C14-47D3-A0BB-B316F9EE60D2-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="594072" first="Bobby" last="Taylor"] - Daniel HS (Central) </strong></p> <p>Taylor a left-handed point guard picked up a offer from local NCAA D2 program Southern Wesleyan University. Taylor plays the game very under-control and always seems to make smart decisions. Bobby can get the ball into the paint and then make that extra pass to a teammate. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/BBE053F4-7621-47D4-83F0-A1D47895691C.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223595" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/BBE053F4-7621-47D4-83F0-A1D47895691C-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976990" first="Houston" last="Jones"] - Dutch Fork HS </strong></p> <p>Jones is a bit of a Sniper from behind the arc with his ability to shoot the ball. Jones picked up a offer this week from Francis Marion University. Jones is a SHOOTER with good range on his shot. Houston plays for his father Bret Jones at Dutch Fork HS. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/D8524117-164B-46FA-BCC3-590C9CB0A165.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223588" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/D8524117-164B-46FA-BCC3-590C9CB0A165-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="837349" first="Samuel" last="Perry"] - Christ Church </strong></p> <p>Perry guided the Cavaliers to a Class 2A State Championship last season. Perry can play up-tempo or in a half style court game. Perry makes good reads on the floor and has the ability to knockdown open shots. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/8E8F9F5A-9409-48DE-A974-12BD9C9651D4.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223586" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/8E8F9F5A-9409-48DE-A974-12BD9C9651D4-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="594057" first="Davion" last="Joyner"] - Fort Dorchester HS </strong></p> <p>Joyner is a multi sport athlete from the Lower State. Joyner has seen much basketball in the past 18 months with the Pandemic. Joyner averaged 10.6 ppg this past season in 10 games for the Patriots (9-1). </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/2B0367C6-2D6A-4035-8BF3-8B571D986912.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223592" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/2B0367C6-2D6A-4035-8BF3-8B571D986912-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1112910" first="Jalen" last="Burnett"] - Northwestern HS (Rock Hill) </strong></p> <p>Burnett has a nice mid-range game that leads to him scoring a ton of points at times. Burnett can create his own shot on the floor.</p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/19BDD202-770C-4E0C-A2EF-AA3B5E187B67.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1223591" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/19BDD202-770C-4E0C-A2EF-AA3B5E187B67-300x169.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="169" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1223526" first="Chris" last="Abercrombie"] - Wade Hampton HS (Greenville) </strong></p> <p>Abercrombie came out of nowhere this weekend with his play. Abercrombie was wearing a different jersey number than the one in the program. Abercrombie #21 for the Generals this weekend moved really well off the ball. Chris competed and defended at a good clip vs Keenan HS. Abercrombie got the ball to the paint and off the bounce. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
