The rankings are out! The updated PrepHoops Nevada C/O 2022 rankings have been released. These are our most extensive rankings to date with 98 players making the list. The class features several players that excel at both backcourt spots. In this article, we take a look at the top Combo Guards in the class of 2022.

[player_tooltip player_id="859648" first="Jamir" last="Stephens"] 6’1 CG Desert Pines #10 - Stephens is a unique talent and the prototypical Combo guard. At 6’1 he can create for himself off iso’s, and defend opposing two guards. He has PG-level handle, with some nifty COD’s which allow him to breakdown opponents and create for teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="859655" first="Parsa" last="Hadjighasemi"] 6’4 Carson #20 - Hadjighasemi is a knock-down shooter that is lethal in catch-and-shoot action. He leans more to the two-guard side but does have a good handle, and the ability to create for teammates. The Carson guard has terrific size for the position and falls into one of the state’s sleeper categories as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="859650" first="Torak" last="TT Valosek"] 6’4 Incline #21 - Not sure what to make of Valosek, he is a physical specimen that dominates games with his size and downhill ability. For Incline, he plays with the ball in his hand a ton, making him their offense initiator. With his size, versatility, and skill set, he is an intriguing prospect, to say the least.

[player_tooltip player_id="1006243" first="Ray" last="Payne"] 6’0 Eldorado #80 - It’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to watch Payne live, however in the past, he’s shown good 1 on 1 ability. Payne also is good at drawing and kicking to create open shots for teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="1148728" first="Ricky" last="Carns III"] 6’0 Green Valley #90 (featured image) - I’ve gotten to see Carns quite a bit for ALL Vegas on our Hustle Region Circuit. He is a facilitator who helps organize and orchestrate the offense.
