Here are nine players in the Chsaa who showed unlimited range and a quick release to score from deep.

Thomas Whelan 6”2. 2022. Fordham Prep

Showed a quick release. Can create his own shot from three. Comes off of screens ready to shoot it.

Thomas Keane 5”11. 2022. St. Peters

Excellent range. Can drill the three from different spots on the floor. Always moving. His court awareness gets himself open looks.

[player_tooltip player_id="1142000" first="Josh" last="Pascarelli"] 6”2. 2023. St. Francis Prep.

Excellent in transition for the pull-up three. Lights out from the top of the key three. Always in motion extremely dangerous from three off the kick out.

Dallis Dillard 6”2. 2021. St. Rays

Excellent range. Good lift on his jumper. Hands out ready to shoot it. Fundamentally sound. Smooth release and nice rotation out of his hand. Dallis has committed to Indiana Pennslyvania a nice bet for the D2 program.

[player_tooltip player_id="1047657" first="Nick" last="Folk"]. 6”1. 2021. Xaverian (pictured)

Can shoot the three in a variety of ways. Excellent ball-handler enables him to shoot it off a step back, crossover, or between the legs he is dangerous any time he has the ball in his hands. Unlimited range.

[player_tooltip player_id="1045683" first="Taylor" last="Perlmutter"] 6”1. 2023. Lasalle

Another player always in motion. Has the ability to get his own shot off. Dangerous three-point shooter from corner to corner.

John McCabe 6”2. 2022. Molloy

With no games played this past season, this spring tournament was a proving ground for some of the younger players. John is one of those guys who excelled. Unlimited range. Showed he can score with floaters but his three-point shooting caught my eye. Had multiple games with three 3’s. Tough gritty player to watch for next season.

Josh Zangerle 6”5. 2021. Stepinac

Comes off the bench for the talented Stepinac programs and helps in many ways. Very impressed with him coming in cold off the bench in this tournament and warming up quickly hitting threes. Excellent lift and rotation.

[player_tooltip player_id="1047662" first="Jake" last="Okon"]. 6”2. 2021. Fordham Prep

Deadly coming off screens. Quick-release. A lefty shooter. Seems to always catch the ball in his shooting position. No wasted movement.
