Alabama Evals: Class 3A Area 1 Top Players

<p>Area 1 in Class 3A is home to Bayside Academy, Chicaksaw, Cottage Hill Christian Academy and Mobile Christian. </p> <p>The players in Area 1 display some of the best talent in all of Class 3A. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="902724" first="Haaziq" last="Loftin Jr"]. </strong>| 5-9 PG, SG | Chickasaw</p> <p>Loftin is a sensational guard that can take over the game at any moment. He can play both the point guard and shooting guard spots well. </p> <p>He has a solid shot to his game and is dominant on the floor. Loftin excels at getting to the rim and elevating over defenders for easy baskets. If he gets to the free throw line, he can seal the win for his team. </p> <p><strong>Allister Dixon </strong>| 6-4 F | Chickasaw</p> <p>Dixon averaged 8.5 points per game in 2020-21. He is a solid shooter that plays with a team first mentality. If there is an open teammate, Dixon dishes the ball and helps create an open look. </p> <p>But when he has the ball, Dixon can get to the glass and create a challenge for post defenders. He is also great at rebounding at both ends of the floor. </p> <p><strong>Jackson Lepere </strong>| 5-11 G | Bayside Academy</p> <p>Lepere is one of the best guards in all of Class 3A. He has a tremendous upside to his game and improves with every game that he plays. </p> <p>On the perimeter, Lepere is a solid three-point shooter that can rise up and hit a big shot late in games. But in the paint, Lepere can drive towards the rim and get a quick bucket. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1070702" first="Joshua" last="Bell"] </strong>| 6-1 G | Cottage Hill Christian Academy</p> <p>Bell might be the top guard in all of Area 1. He plays with a ton of poise and can take over late in games to get his team a quick score. Entering the 2021-22 season, Bell has two years of school left to shine on the court. </p> <p>He is excellent in the paint at getting past defenders for open looks but can also hit a spot up shot from anywhere on his team’s side of the floor. On defense, Bell is sensational at forcing turnovers then running the fast break to the other end of the court for a quick layup. </p> <p><strong>Kameron Battles </strong>| 6-2 F | Mobile Christian</p> <p>Battles is an excellent forward that is great in the post at both ends of the floor. </p> <p>On offense, he can post up on defenders and get a quick bucket or grab rebounds at the rim. Defensively, Battles is a solid defender that is quick to block shots and force the ball handler to find an open teammate. </p>
