<p>The class of 2023 is stacked with a lot of talented players that already have loads of varsity experience despite only having been in high school for two years. I am very excited to watch these guys develop their game over the course of the next two seasons as they expand their roles and take over the controlling reigns of the entire team. As more and more players from the class of 2023 finally get to play at the varsity level, I have no doubt that there will be a lot of changes to the rankings in the next couple of seasons. <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1170719" first="Braden" last="Volkers"], Melba: </strong>Braden was a key part of a really successful Melba offense last season and he will look to take on even more responsibility in the upcoming season. Volkers has a quick trigger finger from outside and does an excellent job of shooting quickly and efficiently. His feet are always squared up with the rim and he is ready to shoot no matter what. Braden also does a great job of finding open teammates in order to dish out assists.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1170717" first="Caden" last="Yett"], Nampa Christian:</strong> Yett is a true point guard for Nampa Christian and he will be commanding his team to another great run in this next season. Yett is a great passer who constantly dishes out a bunch of assists to his open teammates. He has a great feeling for the game overall and plays with a sense of poise that is usually only seen in veteran players. Caden is also a scoring threat from anywhere on the floor and he does a great job of scoring in the paint or knocking down the open three pointer.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1170714" first="Max" last="Myers"], Compass Charter:</strong> Max is a double-double machine that relentlessly attacks the boards on both ends of the floor. He has a great sense of timing and judging positioning for where the ball will bounce off of the rim. He is also a skilled post player on offense who can score using tremendous footwork and a variety of finishing techniques around the basket. Watch for Myers to expand his shot and extend his range this season.</p>
