Prep Hoops Virginia recently updated its class of 2022 prospect rankings, and now it’s time to take a closer look. Here is a rundown of some currently unranked prospects who we missed this time, but are on our radar to be featured in the next update.

Byron Gaskins | Christ Chapel

Byron Gaskins is a 6-foot-1 guard who gives everything on defense. He plays with consistently high effort and has good instincts. When Christ Chapel needs a stop on defense, expect Gaskins to be one of the guys they lean on to get it.

Carter Lawrence | Potomac School

Carter Lawrence and his twin brother Tyler are newcomers to Virginia. A tall and athletic forward who does a bit of everything well, he will surely make an immediate in the MAC.

Tyler Lawrence | Potomac School

Tyeler Lawrence is to no surprise a nice compliment to his brother in the frontcourt. He will be another dynamic addition to the Panthers roster.

Jamie Ntiamoah | Riverside

An all-region selection last season, Jamie Ntiamoah is primed to continue producing. He is very versatile and unselfish. Ntiamoah will probably be an x-factor for his team throughout the upcoming season.

Andre Pacheco | W.T. Woodson

Andre Pacheco has been on a tear this summer. Through two games at the Capitol Hoops Summer League, both wins, he is averaging 23 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal while shooting 6 of 9 from three. His stock is rising fast not just because of his individual statistics, but also the positive results his teams are able to secure.

[player_tooltip player_id="1107887" first="Trey" last="Seigle"] | Lake Braddock

[player_tooltip player_id="1107887" first="Trey" last="Seigle"] is a sneaky bet to lead Northern Virginia in scoring during the upcoming season. Lake Braddock loses multiple key players from last season, and Seigle has been quite productive in the past. He is a marksman who can dribble and pass but is always working hard to get open. Don’t be surprised if he hits 100 or more threes as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="1107888" first="Jameson" last="Smith"] | George Mason

[player_tooltip player_id="1107888" first="Jameson" last="Smith"] comes from good bloodlines. His older brother, Hollman, is currently on the roster at James Madison and was a standout at George Mason not too long ago. Like his brother, Jameson is a blue-collar type of player who can do a bit of everything well and does whatever it takes to help his team win.
