The 2022 rankings have been updated following the spring grassroots slate. Here's a look at Part II of some of the Stock Risers in the state of North Carolina.

[player_tooltip player_id="1030540" first="Christ" last="Essandoko"] | 6'10 Center/Forward

From No. 36 to No. 16

French native Essandoko was a new face in the state of North Carolina not too long ago and after adjusting to the American game at Winston-Salem Christian and his stock has risen quite nicely in the Team Curry rotation. He's a post prospect that's shown promise as a rebounder and paint presence on both ends. He also can knock down shots on the perimeter as well, making him quite the versatile threat. Illinois, Pittsburgh and Maryland are some of the latest schools to offer him.

[player_tooltip player_id="944960" first="Logan" last="Blair"] 6'5 Wing/Forward

From No. 82 to No. 33

Blair is an intriguing prospect at 6-foot-5 that can play multiple roles on the floor. He's emerged with the Charlotte Guards on the grassroots scene, showing off his ability to defend and attack with his strength and frame. He has the ability to operate outside while working his way to the interior as well as a presence in the paint. He's an underrated prospect in the state due for some attention soon on the recruiting trail given his abilities.

[player_tooltip player_id="838022" first="Omarion" last="Bodrick"] | 6'9 Power Forward

From No. 48 to No. 34

Bodrick is an emerging name that's slowly making a name for himself with [program_tooltip program_id='2078535' first='Team' last='Charlotte'] on the grassroots scene. He's got nice length and athleticism he uses well to protect the rim and form a formidable frontcourt pairing with a talented crop of prospects. Offensively, he's proven to be a solid rim running threat with nice finish ability around the rim. Winthrop, Vanderbilt and North Carolina A&T are a few schools that have offered him already. Look for his name to grow during the Live Period in July.

[player_tooltip player_id="932129" first="Xavier" last="McKelvy"] | 6'4 Guard

From No. 135 to No. 42

McKelvy has climbed up the radar after strong season in the United Faith Christian rotation this past season which has carried over into the grassroots season with the [program_tooltip program_id='2078479' first='Charlotte' last='Royals']. He's a strong guard prospect at 6-foot-2 with a ton of athleticism in his wheelhouse that allows him to operate inside and out in the backcourt. He uses his strength on the defensive end as well, making his presence felt as a high-level defender. He's a prospect due for a big summer in the 2022 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="848077" first="Karon" last="Boyd"] | 6'6 Power Forward

From No. 59 to No. 47

Boyd has shown no signs of slowing down since winning a NCISAA State Title with the Cannon School this past season. He's a strong presence in the Charlotte Hoyas' rotation that makes an impact in a variety of ways. He's got nice mobility which allows him to defend multiple roles on the floor while still maintaining his presence as a paint protector and rebounder. As he proves himself as a consistent offensive threat, look for his recruitment to grow.
