During the Circuit season I was fortunate to catch the action in California at the West Coast Kick-Off, Oklahoma at Sooner State Showdown, and in Arizona at War In The Valley. Countless articles have been written highlighting the standout players from these events, however, in an effort to evaluate as many potential prospects as possible, I wanted to take a look at some players whose performances may have flown under the radar. In this article, a follow up to Under The Radar Vol 1 we take a look at some under the Radar Prospects from these events. Note: This article only contains players that participated in either War In The Valley, WCKO, or Sooner State Showdown.
Dax Hall 5’4 PG SD Prospects 2027 – Hall is the younger brother of sharpshooter Jake Hall. Like his brother, he is a big-time shooter with the ability to change the scoreboard from behind the 3 point line. Hall displayed textbook mechanics during the entire circuit, getting his feet set, and displaying a consistent release and follow through.
Tyus Thomas 5’8 PG West Coast Select 2026 – The first thing I noticed about Thomas was his IQ. He understands P&R basketball at a high level and has a knack for setting up teammates in just the right spot. The next thing I noticed about him, was his ability to shoot the basketball. Thomas is a floor-spacing PG that has easy range out to the college 3.
Jeremiah Profit 6’0 SF Gamepoint Inland 2026 – Profit has a good frame, complete with long arms. He moves well for a young player of his size and length, displaying fluid running ability when changing ends of the floor. The skill that impressed the most was his rebounding, Profit was aggressive at West Coast Kick-Off, grabbing both in traffic and out of area boards.
Rocket Schwertley 6’2 PF JB White Elite 2026 – Schwertley is one of the best young stretch 4’s on the West Coast. He serves as instant offense, spraying 3’s from all over the court. He played in an instant classic in California, putting up huge numbers in a hard-fought battle against Branch West.
Myles Singleton 5’11 SG Team AON 2025 (featured image) – What I liked most about Singleton was his unselfishness. The quick scoring guard could easily dominate the ball in the backcourt, however, on a talented AON team loaded with guards, Singleton spent a ton of time playing the post against man to man and the high post against zone. He showed a nice mid-range jumper and contributed on the defensive end.
Kody Williams 6’7 C Cy Fair Elite 2025 – I got a look at Williams in Oklahoma. He’s a nice sleeper prospect, not only because of his size and length but also because of his signature skill. Williams was a good rim protector, that displayed the ability to block and alter several shots. As his offensive game develops, it’s easy to see Williams develop into a big-time prospect.
