War For The North: Sunday Scouting Report

Championship Sunday never disappoints, and today the tournament’s biggest names brought their best to the table.

Cade Dirkse – Chapman North – 2026:

Seems like every layup he had was through contact. A strong forward with good transition and finishing skills. Is a natural player that sees the game well, knowing when to cut or go for the steal. Had a solid morning game from a scoring standpoint.

Colton Struckman – Chapman North – 2026:

A young guy with a very high motor. Plays great defense in transition, always working to deflect and steal passes. Thrived in transition, getting a handful of easy buckets on the break or dishing to teammates for even better looks.

Marlo Moore – Dream Chasers Elite – 2025:

A shifty, quick guard that showed his skills Saturday morning. He had some nice combo moves when isolating at the top of the key and also proved he can shoot from outside. A taller, more athletic player in his age group. Although he didn’t score a ton, he was showing flashes of his skills all weekend.

Jalen Wilson – D1 Minnesota Dewey – 2025:

One of the bigger centers in the gym this weekend. A very strong presence down low. He couldn’t be boxed out with his good positioning and sturdy frame. Showed flashes of a solid finishing skillset. He had a reverse layup in his morning game today, two of his eight total points. His best game came on Saturday when he dropped 23 points.

Drew Daoust – Wisconsin Crusaders Premier – 2025:

The guard stood out all weekend, contributing with energy, effort, and offense. Daoust scored inside and out, looking comfortable from everywhere. He’s grown early on, becoming a mismatch at the guard spot with his size. Watched him play again today and he was on fire from deep. Finished with 25 points.

Jake Nosek – Illinois Attack – 2025:

A forward with great height already. He’s got a pure scorer’s mentality, always seeking out buckets whether that’s in the lane, from three, or with savvy mid-range moves. Got to the line a few times and converted. He’s smooth and makes scoring look easy.

Reagan Flickinger – Midwest Tar Heels Select – 2025:

Was an efficient scorer and shooter that made an impact at all three levels. Is well built for scoring at the guard or forward spot with his length and height. He hit a pretty catch-and-shoot three against Illinois Attack, adding a scoop finish and some bunnies in the lane. Was converting at a high percentage and didn’t miss many looks.
