Amari Edwards — Dream Chasers 14U — PG
Edwards came out on Saturday and made a name for himself. The speedy point guard made some difficult shots and showed an ability to get his teammates involved. I also saw some high-level competitiveness from the PG on the defensive end.
Kaydin Williams — Grind Family Chicago 14U — PG
Kaydin Williams did a lot of the heavy lifting for Grind Family Chicago 14U in the second half. The point guard made shots, kept his offense in rhythm, and even grabbed a few offensive rebounds. Williams is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on.
EJ Breland — Grind Family Chicago 14U — SF
I liked the shooting ability that Breland displayed on Saturday afternoon. The small forward showed a pretty mid-range shot. And while I didn’t see him knock down any threes, I know that he has the skill to become lethal from beyond the arc.
Evan Vanevehoven — Wisconsin Crusaders 14U — G
I am very impressed by how complete Vanevehoven’s game is at this point in his career. The Wisconsin Crusaders guard played with poise and confidence on both ends. He made crisp passes and was very dangerous when he got to the rim.
Jayden White — D1 Wisconsin 14U — G
Playing on a team that was stacked with talent, White made some impressive plays. Around the rim, White was able to convert on some tough layups/floaters. I am looking forward to watching White and D1 Wisconsin compete tomorrow.
Ryan Wambo — Powerhouse Hoops 14U — SG
Wambo sliced through the opposing defense with ease on Saturday. When he put his head down and attacked the rim, the shooting guard was not going to be denied. Drawing fouls and finishing through layups is Wambo’s trademark.
Stephon Brister — Kevon Looney 14U — PF
Brister could end up becoming a real problem in Wisconsin’s 2025 class. The power forward has great positional size and has shown some touch around the rim. Brister has all of the intangibles necessary to become a star.
Max Raimer — Wisconsin Crusaders 14U — SG
Raimer is a shooting specialist that just knows how to put the ball in the hoop. Playing for Crusaders, the shooting guard was able to knock down some catch and shoot threes. Once the defense respects his outside shot, the rest of the court will open up for Raimer and his teammates.
JJ Sullivan — D1 Minnesota 14U — SG
Sullivan is a true shooting guard that can flat out score the basketball. The lefty is an elite finisher around the rim. The SG can finish around or through contact. Sullivan scored 20 points for D1 Minnesota 14U in the winning effort on Saturday.
