The 2021 rankings have been updated for the final time. This great class of seniors featured some great players at the small-school ranks.

In honor of this great group, here are the 2nd and 3rd teams of senior all-stars, drawn from 2A and the two divisions of 1A (stay tuned for the first team!):

2nd Team:

PG [player_tooltip player_id="889511" first="Eli" last="Wiseman"], 5-foot-9, Belle Plaine (pictured):

Wiseman propelled his team to the state playoffs as a senior, leading the offensive charge with 25.5 points per game. He also showed he can distribute, dishing out 4.9 assists per contest. To reach state, Wiseman poured in 37 in the sub-state final against Garden Plain. He was first team 2A as a junior and senior.

SG [player_tooltip player_id="1134441" first="Jordan" last="Barnard"], 6-foot-1, Olpe:

The athletic big guard led a loaded Eagle club all the way to the title this year. He earned 1A honorable mention as a junior, but raised his game to another level as a senior. He averaged 14.1 points and was a defensive stopper.

SF [player_tooltip player_id="1072883" first="Devan" last="McEwen"], 6-foot-2, Lebo:

McEwen isn’t necessarily a forward, but he has the physical size and athleticism to go get rebounds and defend multiple positions. McEwen was a force for several years at Lebo and kept the Wolves among the best small school clubs in Northeast Kansas. He consistently filled up the stat sheet, and had games of 35 (Hartford), 30 (Burlingame), 29 (Baldwin) and 28 (Olpe).

PF [player_tooltip player_id="946221" first="Devin" last="Loudermilk"], 6-foot-3, West Elk:

Looking for a long athlete who can rebound and defend, this spot goes to Loudermilk. His elite hops and athleticism made him a shot-blocking, dunking nightmare for opposing small schools. Loudermilk averaged 20.5 points and 7.0 rebounds as a senior.

C [player_tooltip player_id="1134453" first="Miles" last="Kitselman"], 6-foot-5, Lyndon:

If you want an intimidating, physical presence in the middle, then Kitselman is your man. If you want a coordinated big who can run the floor and do things on the move, Kitselman is you man. No wonder he’s going to Emporia State to play football. He’s an impressing big man who could facilitate offense from the high post, outlet to racing guards, and chase down plays in transition. His 12 points and 8 rebounds for a loaded, versatile team don’t tell the whole story of how good he was at Lyndon.

3rd Team:

PG [player_tooltip player_id="1188966" first="Colton" last="McCarty"], 6-foot, Cheylin

SG [player_tooltip player_id="1188965" first="Cooper" last="Wolf"], 6-foot, South Haven

SF [player_tooltip player_id="1134424" first="Vance" last="Shewey"], 6-foot-4, Meade

PF Jacob Juenmean, 6-foot-4, Hanover

C [player_tooltip player_id="1134440" first="Wyatt" last="Lange"], 6-foot-7, Clifton-Clyde
