6'3" | SF
Columbia City | 2022
IN
– 6’3″ – Indiana Elite Focus Premier
Baker is a shooting guard who can shoot the lights out of the ball. He is very smooth on the catch and shoot and did not seem to miss. He also showed the capability to create his own shot by hitting a nice step-back jumper. When driving the ball, he did get out of control at times, but he was out of control trying to create on offense. Baker should be on the radar of Division 3 coaches that want someone that can light it up from the outside.
Amhad Jarrard Amhad Jarrard 6'4" | SG Mt. Vernon-Fortville | 2022 State IN – 6’5″ – George Hill All Indy – Saunders
Jarrard is a D1 athlete who is quite possibly the best dunker that I have seen at this level. He is incredibly quick and knows how to make a play. In addition to his athleticism, he has good court vision and can get his teammates involved in the game. He does have some times that he can become complacent on the offensive end or forget to play defense, but these are just mental lapses. He has the skill, so if he can put it all together, his stock will skyrocket. He already has offers from IUPUI and Coastal Carolina, and he is going to have more and more over the coming year.
Armon Jarrard Armon Jarrard 6'2" | PG Mt. Vernon-Fortville | 2022 State IN – 6’5″ – George Hill All Indy – Saunders
Jarrard is less athletic than his brother, but it is by a minuscule amount. He can still jump out of the gym and has the length to disrupt any offense. He isn’t as polished on the offensive end of the floor, but he uses his quickness and length to finish around the rim. He is also an impressive shot blocker. Jarrard should be playing NAIA basketball next year, and with his potential, the right coach should be able to polish his skills into becoming an excellent player.
Aidan Lambert Aidan Lambert 6'3" | SG Snider | 2022 State IN – 6’3″ – Summit City Elite
Lambert is a bigger guard who knows how to make plays. He is incredibly athletic and has a ton of confidence in his game. He is a very good finisher and isn’t going to ever shy away from contact. He is going to use his physicality and go right at his defender. Lambert was pretty quiet for the majority of the game, but with the game tied at 49, Lambert got a look in his eye and went to work. He scored 11 straight points for Summit City and led them to a narrow one-point victory. Paired with Karson Jenkins Karson Jenkins 6'1" | PG Fort Wayne Snider | 2022 State IN , Snider will have two very impressive scorers leading the way next season.
Darren Roach – 6’2″ – 94 Feet Elite
Roach is a lefty guard whose athleticism makes him an outstanding prospect. He is very quick with the ball which allowed him to beat players off the dribble all game, and he can jump out of the building. He also shot the lights out of the ball in this one. He has a smooth stroke from the outside and knocked down his first three triples of the game. Roach still has room to improve, but he has the tools to be a quality player.
Ayden Ruble Ayden Ruble 6'2" | SG Leo | 2022 State IN – 6’1″ – Summit City Elite
Ruble is a smaller guard who plays a very unselfish game. He likes getting his teammates involved, and he is never going to force a shot up. He has good body control when he drives to the rim and knows how to finish through contact, but I would like him to be a little more aggressive and stronger with the ball in his hands. He has the ability, but he just doesn’t take advantage sometimes. He also had a couple of times that he failed to hustle back on defense after turning the ball over. Ruble is a good player, but he just needs to clean up a couple of areas of his game to take it to the next level.
Kyle Thomas Kyle Thomas 6'4" | SG Cloverdale | 2022 State IN – 6’1″ – Grand Park Premier UA Rise
Thomas is a bigger wing who is another very good scorer on this team. He can knock down shots from the outside with consistency, but it seems like he never forces a shot up. He also came up big on the defensive end with some steals that led to fast-break buckets. Thomas is a physical player who is always hustling, and that is going to make him a very highly valued prospect at the NAIA level.
