This young and talented baller has basketball in his blood. His father and two older brothers all played at the net level. The youngest Schafer might be the best one! I was overly impressed with his shooting ability and range as a freshman. I guarantee NSIC coaches and Summit League scouts have him on their radar. Isaiah is mature beyond his years and he knows how to make the correct play. Besides being smart, he is athletic and gifted skill-wise. Schafer will be one of the best guards in the WDA next year. I am guessing he will take the next step and become one of the elite players in all of North Dakota.
Isaiah is should be playing in the 15U division for AAU. However, he opted up to play with the ECI 16 team. He is not disappointing, Schafer is exceeding expecations. I am nothing but impressed with Isaiah Schafer Isaiah Schafer 6'1" | CG Bismarck Century | 2024 State ND .

Bismarck Century coach Darin Mattern comments on Isaiah:
“He is a gym rat. Isaiah is a player that continues to improve. He understands the game and does a tremendous job of making the right play on both ends of the floor. With maturity and improved strength, his game will continue to rise. With the ability to play on and off the ball his versatility will make him a dynamic player.”
ECI coach Tanner Purintun comments on Isaiah:
“Isaiah has had a solid start to the AAU season for us. He’s done a great job of creating shots for himself and others. He is one of the go-to guys on our team and he has made some big-time shots for us. It’ll be exciting to see how he continues to develop throughout the years. He has the potential to be a very good player at the next level.”
