Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some more new names of prospects from the St. Louis area who have been performing quite well during the spring grassroots season. He is a confident ball-handler who is able to create his own offense in iso situations. He can either beat his man off the dribble for a layup or hit the pull up jumper. He has solid quickness, good athleticism and length on the defensive end. Cameron Stovall 6’5" Gateway Basketball Club 16U: A talented 2023 forward from Vashon who has been waiting in the wings behind a stellar senior class on the Wolverines Class 4 state championship team. He has enjoyed some nice breakout performances this spring and has received an offer from Western Illinois University. He is a very effective slasher who finishes well around the basket on his drives. He is also a very active offensive rebounder who scours the glass for putbacks with his quick jump. He's a tough matchup for opposite fours who try to defend. him. He can also be disruptive on the defensive end with his length and athletic ability to make plays. He is a young wing with good size and knock down shooting ability from 3-point range. He moves well without the ball and does his work to get himself shot ready before he catches the ball. He keeps the floor spaced for BBE's big and talented front line.
