Mid-Carolina Young Gunz Showcase

<p>Prep Hoops stopped into the Mid-Carolina Young Gunz Showcase on Sunday morning after leaving the Hoop State. Florence International Basketball hosted the event at Trinity Collegiate in Darlington. Lets take a look at some of the Top Performers we were able to see on Sunday. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930645" first="Aaron" last="Medley"] - Laurence Manning Academy (Manning) - Florence International Basketball (pictured on front) </strong></p> <p>Medley was very efficient in the opening day game on his way to 18 points. Medley really played a solid game from out top and was able to knockdown shots on the perimeter. Medley made some timely passes in transition that led to easy basket for his teammates. Thomas a downhill attacking guard is very effective going to the basket. Thomas still must keep improving on his perimeter skills for the down road. Thomas really excels in a up-tempo style of play where he can get out and run. Nelson is best close to the cup and playing the game on activity and put-backs. Gasque reclassified after he left Andrews HS. Tre is a absolute pogo stick on the floor with some crazy bounce. Gasque has great length and needs to really stay focus and put a whole game together at times. Gasque has the tools to keep developing his game for the next level. </p>
