After watching younger brother Berreky play last week at the PassionSZN Kickoff, I got the pleasure of watching Machli on Sunday afternoon. The Fleurissaint boys share similar traits, both eye-catching wings with length. Machli got red-hot in a 66-53 win over FTL White, pouring in 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. His jump shot was locked in. He scored from the mid-range before extending his touch to the three-point line. Fleurissaint had smooth drives to the basket as he implemented eurosteps to get to where he wanted to go. Machli’s well-rounded offensive game along with his versatility on defense give him nice upside.

Much like Fleurissaint, [player_tooltip player_id="1161430" first="Eric" last="Parnell"] is a gifted athlete on the wing that plays with a reliable motor. His activity helps him impact games all over the floor. Parnell rebounds well for a guard, using his springy legs to help clear rebounds. On offense, Eric was able to keep defenders off balance with his diverse attack. He got to the rim with ease and showcased an accurate outside shot, burying three three-pointers. Parnell has good instincts on defense, playing larger than his size as he collects steals and blocks. He finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. NAIA programs are in contact.

2022 6-5 W [player_tooltip player_id="1161428" first="Rosario" last="Clements"] – Palm Beach All-Star Flames

[player_tooltip player_id="1161428" first="Rosario" last="Clements"] was a matchup issue. He’s a big physical wing that can play either small or power forward. He uses his body well in the post, powering through defenders and battling for position on the glass. Clements stretched out the defense on the perimeter, attacking off the dribble to hit pull-up jumpers. He tallied 14 points and 6 rebounds.

2023 5-11 PG [player_tooltip player_id="812625" first="Jermaine" last="Hunter"] – Palm Beach All-Star Flames

An efficient offense needs a true point guard to make everything work. [player_tooltip player_id="812625" first="Jermaine" last="Hunter"] was that for Palm Beach. The pass-first facilitator was able to set up teammates for easy buckets. He played with pace as he kept his head up at all times. Hunter finished with 4 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals vs. FTL White.

2022 6-7 F Tareeq Anderson – Palm Beach All-Star Flames

The offense didn’t need to run through Anderson in Game 2 of the day, but he still found a way to impress in my first look after scoring 22 points to start Sunday. Anderson is a mobile forward that posts hard on the block and uses his length to rebound in traffic. He scored on a tip-in and knocked down a long outside jumper. Anderson alters shots in the lane. He is a solid prospect that should hear from coaches soon.

2023 6-5 W Josh Verdine – Team IAMHE

A big wing that could do damage inside and out, Josh Verdine was a steady producer for Team IAMHE. He helped handle the ball on the perimeter, looking for slashing lanes to open up. He showcased a consistent mid-range jumper and the ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line.

2023 5-10 PG Charles Moore – South Florida Shockers

Charles Moore piled in the points for the South Florida Shockers. He was the engine that made them go. Moore controls the tempo exceptionally well, changing speeds efficiently. He was really good in transition and equally as dangerous in the half court with his deep range.

2022 6-2 PG [player_tooltip player_id="956771" first="Kamrin" last="Oriol"] – Dream Nation

Oriol is a strong body guard that gets to his spots. He uses his frame to shield off defenders and not get knocked off course. He has a nice pull-up jumper from the mid-range and can finish at the rim.
