In our final edition of the 2021 class of hoops in Kansas, there were a ton of posts who put together great senior campaigns to cap off high quality careers at the prep level. Most of these guys on the list will be on to the next level to make some noise on the college scene. Some are sticking around and hitting the prep route to further fine tune their games and recruiting status.

*With the addition of quite a bit of new players to the rankings, players may have risen spots in total but not in the final order of player rankings*

#7 [player_tooltip player_id="889456" first="Antwaun" last="Massey"], 6’8 Forward, Olathe East/Minnesota Prep: Massey has been playing as an unsigned senior for the KC Spurs this spring and has continued his explosive play in the front court that he is well known for. Heading to Minnesota Prep, Massey will look to continue to boom is stock at the college level. He is extremely active, has top tier athleticism, and is highly efficient finishing in and around the painted area with either hand. Is great coming off of screen and roll and catching lobs or pocket passes and making plays off the catch.

#14 [player_tooltip player_id="889460" first="Nate" last="Barnhart"], 7’ Forward, Desoto: Heading on up to Wyoming next season to get his taste of Division 1 hoops, the 7’ Barnhart got himself primed with a really strong senior season where he was one of two in one of the most dynamic forward pairings in Kansas. Barnhart has 3 point range, a solid back to the basket game, versatile in the pick and roll game, and has a high basketball IQ moving off the ball. His guard skills that he can pair with his size make him an extremely versatile weapon. On the defensive end, he is a shot blocking machine.

#15 [player_tooltip player_id="962473" first="Andrew" last="Orr"], 6’9 Forward, Blue Valley North (Pictured): Orr put together what could be considered a dream season for a forward, a walking double double on the basketball floor this season and capped off his high school career with a state championship at the 6A level. Orr is a spark plug, with amazing rebounding ability, rim running, and dunking ability in a variety of situations allow him to make game altering plays at any time. Great defender as well with some ability to guard guards in switches and is a top notch post defender. Was a 6A All Stater this season averaging 14.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Orr is primed for a huge career at Washburn University

#17 [player_tooltip player_id="889461" first="Branden" last="Eckles"], 6’6 Forward, Olathe South: Eckles will be continuing his basketball career at Southwest Baptist University where the springy and athletic forward prospect will be looking to make an immediate impact. He has a quick bounce off the floor, ability to find rebounds at a high rate, and draws fouls and finishes in the paint at an extremely high rate.
